Happy Monday! We are back to regular scheduled blog posts this week. We took a little break last week while we were gone for our birthday, and it was much needed. We are feeling so refreshed now! We packed this fuchsia jumpsuit on our trip, and got so many compliments on it.
Since we are so petite (5’1″), we had been looking for a jumpsuit that would fit petites well, and not just look like we are swallowed up in it. We ended up loving this one from Express so much that we ordered it in several colors. We went with a size 0 petite in this one, and it fits perfectly!
Some of our tips for wearing a jumpsuit when you’re petite are:
CHOOSE A CROPPED LENGTH
Especially if you’re petite, a cropped length is just what you need! It wont make you look like you’re swimming in your pants. This one hits right above your ankle, so it hits the perfect spot, and if you’re taller than us, it would be a little shorter. This length is perfect because it makes you look so much taller!
FIND PETITE SIZING
Just like we mentioned above, petite sizing is your best bet because you won’t have to worry about hemming or fixing anything, so that is why we love petite sizing at Express.
OPT FOR A FITTED WAIST
A fitted waist will make you look slimmer and will create a waistline, so you don’t look like you’re swallowed in it. This one also has a sweetheart neckline, so it is even more flattering.
GO FOR SOLIDS
A solid color like this one, keeps it classy, without looking like you’re a walking trend. Also, it allows you dress it up or down since it is so simple!
