We know we aren’t the only ones who get sudden random cravings. It is like you get the craving and absolutely nothing else can satisfy it. You just have to have that ONE food you want at that moment. For us the other day, it was nachos.
We were at a concert and it seemed like almost everyone sitting around us had gotten nachos. They smelled even more amazing than they looked. Luckily for us, I was NOT hungry at all since we had smartly eaten our weekly mediterranean feast (aka we ate enough food for a family of 12). It is the only time of the day when I am not hungry for at least a few hours.
Anyways, these nachos were the real deal. They had the crispy chips, delicious cheese all over them, and the best part: tons of jalapeños (my absolute favorite!)
We decided that we had to make some nachos to satisfy that craving! We had no chips available and had no corn tortillas to make our own chips, so we decided to try and make our own.
While these are not your “typical” chips, they are grain-free and allergen-friendly and are not super complicated to make! Plus, they are packed with protein and fiber, which is always a good thing!
