We are SO excited to share our stay at Breathless Cabo Resort + Spa. We had the MOST incredible experience there. From the moment we were picked up from the Cabo airport by our hilarious driver who greeted us with beer, to the moment we left the resort, our time was nothing short of amazing. We seriously had THE best time, and we hope that is reflected in our pictures and videos. Be sure to check out our vlog (we apologize for the newbie editing; this is our first one!) to see all the behind the scenes, and highlights of our trip!
The resort is about 30 to 40 minutes away from the airport in Cabo. We enjoyed the drive over because you get to see all the new construction and different resorts on the way. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the super sweet staff who helped us with our bags and gave us a tour of the resort. The resort is right on the Cabo marina (close to the shops, restaurants, and nightlife), as well as Medano Beach, which is actually swimmable!
They have two pools, one that is more quiet, and the other one, which we loved, that had a DJ, a ton of activities like water aerobics with Johnny, a great pool bar, Foam, and yes, even a foam party with super fun pool floats. We have stayed at some other resorts, and while their pools were relaxing, this one was so fun. One of the days, we had a bed with a bottle of champagne and a huge fruit plate, aka heaven. Our waitress, Vianey, was so sweet and made sure we had a great time! At 2 PM every day, they come out with a ton of margaritas and different cocktails for everyone at the pool, and it is just such a fun atmosphere. { Printed Swim Top | Printed Bottoms | Navy Crochet Top | Navy Crochet Bottoms | Duck Float }{ Blue Sunglasses | Silver Sunglasses }{ Purple Cover Up | Black Swimsuit | Hat }The quiet pool is near one of their restaurants called Bites, which is a sit-down restaurant that has a variety of dishes like ceviche, chips and guac, and fresh fish.{ Striped Dress | Hat } We loved the quiet pool to get work done, or to take some pictures. It overlooks the marina, which is so gorgeous to look at!{ Navy Crochet Top | Navy Crochet Bottoms | Hat| Silver Sunglasses | Earrings }{ Pom Pom Sandals | Striped Tote |Blue Sunglasses }
The larger pool overlooks the beach, which is incredible. You can actually sit on the beach, too, and they have water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skis, and snorkeling. Some of the other resorts we have stayed at in Mexico did not have water sports because the water is too rough, so we loved that this resort offered that. The resort is just steps away from the marina and shopping, so it was perfect for when we headed out on our Pancho tour with Blue Sky Cabo. We had THE best time on that tour and you can check out all of the reviews for them here. We got a ton of amazing photos and video, and they also offer sunset tours, which we will definitely be doing next time we go!
{ Gold Bikini Top | Gold Bottoms | Black Top | Jean Shorts | Hat | Sunglasses | Blue Sunglasses | Blue Earrings }Another super important thing to us is fitness, as you all know;) They have a gym that has cardio equipment like treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as free weights and some machines. They also offer poolside yoga and pilates every morning, and a fitness class at 10 AM. We had the opportunity to workout with one of the trainers of Elite Fit Agency, Darren. He put us through a great full-body workout (see our vlog for more), and we did a variety of things using body-weight, free weights, and TRX cables. We normally just workout ourselves, but it was nice to have a change, and we were both sore the next day. We also took a water aerobics class at the pool with Johnny, which was so fun! He made sure to make us laugh the entire time, and we actually really worked out our legs and glutes, all while getting a nice tan;)
The spa at the resort was absolutely breathtaking (very fitting as Breathless, haha)! They offer tons of great services including facials, deep tissue massages, manis and pedis, and even the fish spa. We both got a deep tissue massage and a fish pedicure. If you’re thinking what the heck is a fish pedicure, it’s basically a tub of water with fish called Garra rufa that eat away at dead skin. It kind of feels like someone is tickling your feet! They have both a hot and wet sauna, as well as a giant shower filled with fresh water to use after the sauna. The most incredible feature of the spa is the view from the giant terrace (BIG heart emoji eyes). Y’all, we could have just stayed there our entire trip because it was so beautiful! They have champagne and light snacks out there as well to enjoy!Speaking of amazing views, the rooftop lounge, Purple, at the resort is unreal! We went up there for some drinks (the bartender made the most amazing mojito) and to snap some photos as always, and it was the most amazing view we have ever seen! You can see the beach straight ahead and then the marina to the right!
Being the foodies that we are, we loved all of the food options. We will say we are not super picky when it comes to food. As y’all know, we eat super healthy, so we basically just need lots of veggies, salads, and protein and we will be happy campers. The problem for us usually is that we are ALWAYS hungry. For that reason, we love all inclusive resorts because we can eat whenever and whatever we want and not feel guilty that we are breaking the bank. At this resort, they had Spoon, a buffet option located right next to the pool deck. This meant that you get the most gorgeous view of the marina and beach every time you have a meal! They served breakfast and lunch there. We loved all of the option they had within the buffet. They had TONS of salads (you could build your own), cold dishes like ceviches and shrimp cocktail, and then they had lots of vegetarian and meat options with the hot bar (it was all so good!). For breakfast, they had the usual bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, etc and then they had a omelette station. We loved that you picked your own ingredients in a bowl for your omelet and then the chef made with eggs, eggs whites, etc. SO much easier and no lines or angry chefs (yes, this has happened to us too many times)! They also had fresh juices and yummy desserts! They have some other places to sit down and order food (one near the quiet pool called Bites). They also have 24 hour room service that is all included (we definitely did some midnight snacking on fajitas)!Downstairs, near the beach, they had several other restaurants (some open for lunch and dinner). We ate at all of them and really enjoyed them. As always, you can order as much food as you want! So, if you’re still hungry after your meal, you just order again!
Sashimi from one of the restaurants:They have one restaurant, La Biblioteca de Tequila that is an extra charge. Theyre known for their tequila obviously, but the food was really good too! We got the salmon and the steak and they were both amazing and great portion sizes, too! All of these restaurants had great views of the ocean, so perfect setting when the sun is going down! Now, let’s talk about the gorgeous room! Our room was part of the Xcelor club, so it’s a bit larger than the regular rooms (but those are still spacious). The Xcelor club was nice because they had tons of drinks, a nespresso, an open bar, and tons of little snacks throughout the day. We loved our room, and would have happily moved in! We loved how open and bright it was even without lights on! It had a huge open bathroom with a double vanity, separate toilet room, and a huge shower with a rain faucet. We also loved that they had great toiletries (including our favorite whitening toothpaste!). We were obsessed with the amazing balcony and the gorgeous marina view we had. If only we could wake up to that everyday!
There were two things we weren’t the biggest fans of. Trust us, it was hard to come with stuff we didn’t like! The way the resort is positioned, you have to walk from one tower to the other to go from the lobby or rooms to the beach/pool area and the gym. It was a nice walk scenery wise, but it sometimes is a pain because it can feel like a hassle if you left something in the room to walk all the way back. On a normal day, we didn’t mind it. You are walking on a portion of the boardwalk when you switch towers, but it’s technically still part of the hotel and they have security that ask about your room number and check upon entry to either tower. You also need to use your key to get into either tower, so we never felt unsafe. The other thing we thought needed a little improvement was the number of outlets in the room. We could make it work by unplugging lamps and phones, but it would be easier if there were more to plug in laptops, phones, curling irons, etc.
With all of that being said, we can’t say enough good things about Breathless Resorts Cabo. We were so sad to be leaving, but like they say, back to reality! So many of our friends and peers have asked us if it really looked like the pictures, and yes, it truly is as pretty as it looked! We highly recommend going there for your next getaway! We know we will be back soon!
A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort. The resort itself is located on a secluded, 2.5 mile beach in Cabo San Lucas. This resort in all-inclusive is catered to adults only, meaning that you won’t find screaming kids around you, especially if you’re looking for relaxing getaway! They have four gourmet restaurants on the property, as well as an incredible spa. In December, they will be debuting a brand-new, ultra-luxe “resort-within-a-resort” expansion called TheTowers at Pacifica. It will offer upscale accommodations, a 24-hour butler service, elevated dining experiences, and exclusive access to a new VIP Towers Lounge. We had the opportunity to stay in the new tower before it was completely finished, and the rooms were incredible! The room featured a gorgeous bed and headboard, which was super modern and elegant. It had a ton of lighting (which we have not seen often), USB ports to charge your electronic devices, a gorgeous patio, and motion-detected lighting in parts of the room! We never wanted to leave our room, and felt totally at-home! They also had a great full-length mirror, which you all know we are all about;)They have a great gym filled with cardio equipment, free weights, as well as machines. We were able to get in a great workout each day! They also offer a ton of workout classes that are complimentary!
They have several pools on the property, and we had a chance to spend some time at each of them. One of them is an infinity pool that overlooks the gorgeous beach and plays calmer, more acoustic music throughout the day. The other pool we sat at was also really nice, and played a playlist of all of the top hits, which we loved! I didn’t even have to play my music because it was exactly what I would listen to on my own! The chairs are super comfy and have a great seat cushion on them, so you are totally relaxed. You can also order food and drinks poolside, which of course, we gladly partook in! We don’t usually drink, but we ordered this drink which was vodka, sparkling water, and fresh mint blended together with ice that was SO refreshing. I literally gulped it down both times I had it, haha, and that is totally unlike me! The waiters at the pool were super friendly and accommodating, which always makes a huge difference. Now, about the food, aka the most important part! I will admit, I was a little nervous about the food, considering we were at an all-inclusive resort, and how particular I am about how my food is prepared. I was super surprised at how easy and accommodating it was to eat healthy and the way I normally do while we stayed there! For breakfast, at Siempre, they had a ton of options at the buffet like fresh fruit, amazing pastries and breads, oatmeal, hot food items like eggs, refried beans, roasted potatoes, and other Mexican specialties like enchiladas and tostadas. They also had an omelette station, where you could get eggs prepared however you like them. We both ordered our usual egg white omelettes with vegetables, and the sweet lady making them everyday remembered our order every morning! She was adorable, and so accommodating! They also offered a variety of salsas to top your eggs with (LOVE!). My favorite part of the breakfast was that they had egg whites with salsa and veggies in the actual buffet! I had never seen that before, but I absolutely loved it!For lunch and dinner, they have several restaurants to eat at such as Siempre, Pescados (sushi), and Aire. We usually ordered a salad and grilled chicken with some veggies of some sort, and they were all super accommodating and willing to make our order the way we wanted it. They also offer 24-hour room service, and normally, I don’t typically order that because it is super expensive, and there aren’t many good options, but at this hotel, we definitely took full advantage of it! We ordered the chicken fajitas with fresh guacamole and grilled chicken with vegetables, and again they were super helpful and made all the changes we had asked for to our orders.
Since there are several other sister resorts nearby, they offer complimentary shuttles to the other resorts, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, Pueblo Bonito Rose, and Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos. We actually visited Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach several times, and loved the resort as well. We ate at some of their restaurants for lunch, and actually ate dinner at one of their restaurants, La Nao twice during our time in Cabo. They offer theme nights for dinner, which are a buffet of TONS of food options, including a salad bar and incredible dessert bar, depending on the theme that night. We ate there for “Argentine Night” and “Seafood Night”. Both were absolutely incredible and we definitely left SUPER full both times. Those were probably in my top 5 best meals I have had!Our hotel itself is very walkable, and we heard from other guests it was their favorite all-inclusive resort out of all of the ones they have stayed in, so that is saying a lot! The resort is about 45 minutes from the airport, but it is a great drive and allows you to see a lot of the city as you drive in!
Here are some of our outfits from our trip:
Overall, we had an incredible stay, and can’t wait to go back very soon! If you all have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out at any time! Xo

This past week my boyfriend and I stayed at the beautiful The Cape, A Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. I had seen a lot pictures of the hotel and had heard great things about it, but in person, it was incredible. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, it was nothing but amazing!
The staff is all incredible and so welcoming, and the actual grounds itself are gorgeous. My boyfriend became best friends with all the staff members by the end of the trip because they are all so nice and entertaining (shoutout to Sebastion!). The lobby/front desk area is all outdoors overlooking the ocean and infinity pool, which is so cool. The decor is super contemporary and unique, which I loved. The hotel is just over a year old, but it still feels brand new, and they make you feel as if you are the only people staying at the hotel. The hotel is secluded, but in a good way to where you feel like you have your own private beach and is not overcrowded like some of the other big hotels in the area.
The concierge service was super helpful in recommending authentic and healthy restaurant options to us, as well as fun activities to do outside of the hotel. We had a great experience at every restaurant they recommended, and never ate a bad meal. They also scheduled and arranged our ATV ride/horseback activity, so we didn’t have to worry about it at all. It was so nice to just be able to tell them what we were interested in doing, and then have them do all of the work for us!
On the main lobby floor, they have an outdoor bar that has really modern seating and a band that plays in the evenings. They also have a gorgeous rooftop bar that has tons of couches and overlooks the ocean and city.
They have two restaurants, The Ledge and Manta. The Ledge had outdoor and indoor seating, both of which are gorgeous. We loved sitting outside for breakfast overlooking the gorgeous ocean and mountains. For breakfast, they had an incredible buffet filled with hot and cold dishes such as fresh fruit (the watermelon and papaya were incredible), granola, fresh juices, pastries, and roasted veggies. They also had some Mexican dishes like enchiladas and Juevos Rancheros.
Manta is the other restaurant they have on the property, and it is a Mexican and Japanese fusion. Although we didn’t have a chance to eat there, we heard great things about it!
One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the infinity pool. From the pool, you could see the ocean, which had and incredible view of the waves and surfers to watch, as well as the city, mountains, and famous “Arch” in the distance. The main pool also had a really cool bar with seats inside the actual pool to enjoy your drinks. They had a ton of cabanas with really comfy chairs that were complementary, as well as lounge chairs, some even in the actual pool! The hotel also has another smaller pool that is filled with salt water.
Now, for the room! This was probably one of my favorite parts about the hotel. I never thought I would say that because I typically spend the least amount of time in the actual room, but this room was incredible and very well thought out. They use a key scanner to open the room door, so you don’t have to physically insert the key in the door, and they have USB ports all around the room to charge your devices. The bathroom was spacious and had a gorgeous all-glass rain shower, which is definitely more for couples, haha. Having the open shower and separate bathtub made the room feel twice as big, and opened up the space a lot. The room had gorgeous artwork, beautiful floor tile, and a really modern and comfortable bed.
The balcony was amazing because it had a rocking couch that was hanging from the ceiling that was great for reading or just hanging out. We relaxed out there one evening and just listened to the waves and watched the stars (total cheeseball;)) The hotel had a great gym that was usually empty and had a variety of equipment like cable machines, TRX, and cardio equipment. They offered complimentary spa water, healthy snacks, and towels as well. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport, but you get to see all of the city on the drive up there. It is about 15-20 minutes from the downtown/city area where there is a ton of little shops and cute restaurants and bars.
We didn’t want the trip to end, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We will definitely be back soon!
PS- shoutout to my incredible boyfriend who took all of my outfit pictures, and did an amazing job! l can be extremely picky, and he nailed it!:)
