We are finalllyyy sharing a much-needed skincare routine + our favorite products! A lot of these we have been using them forever, so we are really excited to share them! We have pretty normal skin (as far as dryness to oiliness, but obviously in the winter, it gets more dry, etc.)
CLEANSER:
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes: These are our go to for removing makeup (especially on late nights when we are too lazy to take our makeup off). These take your makeup off in one step and they even get off stubborn waterproof makeup or long-wear lipsticks.
Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse: This product is a great first step to get rid of excess oil, sunscreen, waterproof makeup, and build-up on your skin. You just add water and it turns into a milky texture to get pre-cleanse before your cleanser. It also leaves your skin super soft! You can use it around your eye for waterproof mascara, too!
CosMedix Purity Clean: This cleanser is one of our favorites because it leaves our skin super soft and it is gentle and has a great, natural scent.
Clarisonic Mia 1: This is the Clarisonic but a little smaller, so it is great for traveling! It deeply cleanses your pores, without being too harsh. It really does remove a lot more makeup than just your hands or washrag. Our skin feels SO clean when we use it!
EXFOLIANT:
Kate Somerville Intensive Exfoliating Treatment: We suggest exfoliating at least 2-3 times a week. It helps to deep clean clogged pores, and then the lactic acid and fruit enzymes leave your skin smooth and brighter. It really leaves your skin feeling like your just got a facial!
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant: This one is another one we love and is gentle to use daily. It is also gentle for sensitive skin.
TONER:
Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner: We use this after cleansing before moisturizing to hydrate and refresh. You can also spray it on any time of day.
SERUMS:
SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier: We use this serum after the toner above. It is a blend of blend of pure hyaluronic acid, proxylane, licorice root and purple rice work that boost skin’s hyaluronic acid levels, improving skin texture and restoring elasticity. It really does leave our skin more plump and smooth.
SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF: This serum is a mixture of vitamin C, Ferulic acid and phloretin. It helps to improve damaged skin and look more even overall. Encourages cell turnover, allowing damaged skin to regain a healthy look and have an even tone. We love how it helps to fade our breakout scars.
Obagi Professional-C Serum 20%: This vitamin C serum gives you antioxidant protection from UV damage and also brightens skin.
iS Clinical Clearing Travel Kit: This pack includes all of our fave iS Clinical products in a travel set (also great to try them out and see if you love them as much as we do!) The Active Serum is a must!
EYES:
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Synchronized Complex II: This eye serum helps a ton with fine lines and puffiness, and even dark circles! We use this morning and night under our eye cream.
Kiehl’s Jumbo Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado: This eye cream is super moisturizing and it is so creamy!
MOISTURIZER:
Dermalogica Active Moist: We love this one because it is super light and oil-free. It is great for normal to oily skin.
Essential Energy Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 20: We like this one for daytime and really leaves your skin so smooth!
SUNSCREEN:
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46: This sunscreen doesn’t leave you feeling all oily and really does protect your skin from the sun!
LASHES:
neuLASH Research Laboratories Lash Enhancing Serum:We have lash extensions, but our mom used this and loved it! It also has great reviews!
BREAKOUTS:
Tea Tree Oil: This is our must have product for those deep blemishes (cystic acne). Normal zit cream doesn’t get rid of these, so this is our go to. You just dab a little bit on your blemishes, and it really does help!
End Zit: Besides the tea tree oil, we use this on top of our breakouts. It really doses work SO fast. We love that it conceals your skin, too, so you can use it under your makeup.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: Another drying lotion we love, but this one is only good for at night.

We haven’t shared an updated makeup routine in forever, so we are back today sharing our go-to makeup products that we use on a daily basis! We shared some of these in our original makeup must-have post here.
To be honest, we both don’t wear a ton of makeup day-to-day, but we do have products that we have been using for years. We like a more neutral, every day look. If we are wanting to do a little more, we will add some eyeshadow and a brighter lip.
FOUNDATION AND CONCEALER:
As far as foundation, we switch between liquid and powder foundations. It all depends on how much coverage you are looking for. For light coverage (going to the gym, or a more bare-faced look, we like this Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. It gives you a natural, dewy look and it has SPF in it.
For more of a coverage, we like NARS All Day Weightless Liquid Foundation. It gives you full, natural-looking coverage, without feeling too heavy! We love how smooth it goes on.
As far as concealer, this NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a great one! It has great coverage and texture.
Some of our favorite concealers are this Yves Saint Laurent Touche Radiant touch and this Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage.
POWDER FOUNDATION + SETTING POWDER:
We honestly use this bareMinerals Original Foundation most days. We have been using it for years, and honestly just love how light it is, and how it doesn’t rub off on your clothes, etc. The only thing about it is that it is not super high coverage. It is also great for traveling because it isn’t heavy and wont leak everywhere.
Setting powder is super important in making sure your makeup stays on and actually lasts. We love this Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder .
BRONZER, BLUSH, HIGHLIGHTER:
A good bronzer, blush, and highlighter are super important. Without them, you look pale and washed out! Our favorite bronzer is Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder in “Aruba” . This one gives you a shimmering, sun-kissed glow, without being too “glittery”.
As far as blush, we have two favorites: Bobbi Brown Blush in “Desert Rose”and NARS Blush in “Orgasm” . We have been using both of these forever, and love the shades of both of these. They are super flattering on any skin tone, and they really last all day.
We started using Charlotte Tilbury ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ Face Sculpt & Highlight only recently, but have become obsessed! The bronzer gives you definition, and the highlighter illuminates your cheekbones, nose, eyes, and cupid’s bow. You just apply the bronzer to the areas of your ace you want to slim and define (cheekbones, temples, jawline, sides and tip of your nose), and then use the highlighter for areas you want to illuminate such as the top of your cheekbones and down the center of your nose, brow bone, etc.
BROWS AND LASHES:
We actually have microblading on our eyebrows and eyelash extensions, but we still use this Anastasia Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil and this Lancome Définicils Lengthening and Defining Mascara on our bottom lashes.
We have tried a ton of mascaras, but this one leaves your lashes long and defined, without being too clumpy.
Having defined brows that are shaped and filled-in is key! We love this eyebrow pencil for filling in and shaping!
LIPS:
For every day lip color, we love this Clinique ‘Chubby Stick’ Moisturizing Lip Color Balm. What we love about it is that it is super moisturizing, and doesn’t leave your lips feeling all dry. It gives you sheer to moderate coverage, depending on how many layers you apply. Our favorite shades are “Pudgy Peony” and “Super Strawberry”
If we are doing a more dramatic makeup look, we love this Sigma Beauty Pink – Power Stick Lipstick. It is the perfect pink and it actually stays on all day!
EYES:
As we mentioned, we don’t wear a ton of eye makeup, but if we do, we love this eyeshadow palette and this MAC Eyeshadow Palette. It has so many good shades for any skin tone! This Urban Decay Naked Palette is also a great one!
As far as eyeliner, this Clinque Quickliner is one of our favorites because it is super silky and glides on so well, and it stays on all day. You also never have to sharpen it, which we love!
OTHER PRODUCTS:
This Best of Sigma Beauty Brush Kit brush set is a great set that we use all of the time. It has a really good variety of brushes!
We use this This Sigma Express Brush Cleaning Mat is awesome for cleaning brushes. We are so bad about cleaning them, but this makes it so much easier!
If you want an all-in-one palette, this Instant Look in a Palette Beauty Glow gives you a combination of bronzer, cheeks, highlighter, and eyes!

We are sure by now y’all have definitely heard of coconut oil, and how great it is for you! We had actually gotten introduced Kopari a few years ago when they launched, and recently had the opportunity to meet one of their co-founders, Kiana, in Dallas a few weeks ago. It was truly inspiring to hear her story, and since we are entrepreneurs as well, it was very relatable.
First off, not only are these products incredible for SO many reasons, they smell incredible, too! They have a range of products from skincare to body care, and they are all made with 100% pure, organic coconut oil sourced from the Philippines. We have definitely tried using the regular coconut oil from our local grocery store, but those don’t even come close to these products. Store-bought coconut oil may be great for cooking, but these products are completely different for your skin. All of Kopari’s products are completely natural, and contain no sulfates, silicones, parabens, and GMOs. Not going to lie, when we first read about putting coconut oil on our skin and our hair, we were thinking that it was totally weird, and that we would be left with greasy, broken-out skin, but we were so wrong! We actually used some of these products, specifically the coconut melt after our spray tan to keep our skin moisturized, without stripping the color. The coconut melt is multifunctional, meaning you can use it from head-to-toe. We love using it as a hair mask, makeup remover, body moisturizer, and shave oil, but the possibilities are endless!We tried their coconut body milk, coconut body oil, coconut crush scrub, and their coconut melt. We seriously LOVED them all. They left our skin feeling SO incredibly soft and glowy. As we mentioned above, if we had to pick one item that is our top favorite, we would definitely go with the coconut melt because it its versatility. We even got our mom hooked on the coconut body milk because it is easy to pack and travel with and we are currently using it post-beach on our trip right now in the Caymans! If y’all are in the market for a good moisturizer, or a new beauty addition, we highly recommend their products! We are all about knowing exactly what we are putting in our bodies, and what we put on our bodies, and love that these products align with that. If you have any other questions about their products, they have a very detailed Q&A here!{ Lace Nightie | Kopari Coconut Body Milk |Kopari Coconut Body Oil | Kopari Coconut Crush Scrub | Kopari Coconut Melt | BRACELETS: David Yurman Cable Bracelets here, here, and here and Cartier Love Bracelet | NECKLACES: Initial Necklace and Diamond Dainty Necklace | RINGS: David Yurman Ring here and here | WATCH: Michele Deco Watch }

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what our travel must haves are! We wanted to do a quick post for you all to share what we almost always take with us on our trips, whether it is a short, weekend trip or longer trip.
We love a variety of skincare and beauty products, but we also think having certain convenience items like a good water bottle, hair dryer, travel tote, etc. are critical! SHOP our favorites below!
This suitcase is great for a carry on piece and is super durable! I also love this quilted tote for traveling because it is soft, but also hold a ton! How cute is this passport case?! And, this portable charger is so necessary if you are on your phones as much as we are!
We have been using TULA for a few months now, and LOVE it! We use a ton of their products, but especially love the Hydrating Day and Night Cream and the Moisture Locking Shea Butter Hand and Nail Therapy. You can get 25% off all TULA products + free shipping with code DD25! All of their stuff is amazing and so light, but works great!
We also love Dermalogica products! We have been using their products for years, and our mom actually uses their products and got us hooked on them at an early age! We love their ultra calming cleanser and their sunscreen because it doesn’t clog your pores, and is great for sensitive skin!
We tried this Revision Skincare Intellishade anti-aging tinted moisturizer in the summer, and instantly fell in love! First off, it is great protection from the sun, AND it gives you a light layer of coverage, so it is great to wear under your makeup OR just for putting on when you’re heading out to the gym in the morning or for some quick errands! I love the matte one because I already have shiny skin sometimes!
In addition to some of our favorite skincare products, we are OBSESSED with this toothpaste. We have been using it for several years now, and will not use anything else! It whitens your teeth, and leaves you breath refreshed. We both also use this teeth whitening gel and put it in some trays we had made at our dentist office (in addition to some others we use sometimes!) Speaking of dentists, since we get asked a lot, we go to Dr. Bergdorf in Dallas. He is great, and his staff is SO nice and helpful. I have had my fair share of cavities, and have had nothing but the best experiences each time!
We love using an electric toothbrush, and recently got this Sonicare Diamond one that is super new and charges in a glass cup it comes with. How cool is that?!
Of course, we could go on and on about what we love, but these are most of them! Hope this post was helpful for y’all!
