If you’re still shopping for someone (or yourself), and don’t know what to get, these Kendra Scott pieces are stunning. They are affordable, and will fit anyone’s style. We have given our mom some of her pieces and she has loved them and worn them all of the time!
What is so great about Kendra Scott pieces are that they are timeless, so you can wear them for years. What is also really cool about Kendra Scott that we didn’t know until recently, is they have a Color Bar™online and in-store, where you can choose and stone color for your pieces and make it unique!
We love this gold layered necklace because it is so simple and classic. It comes in other tones like silver and rose gold, but the gold is our favorite. You can layer it with other necklaces as well.
This cocktail ring is not available anymore, but this one is gorgeous and very simple!
We love this cuff because it has some edge to it, and also is a great neutral piece. It is actually on sale right now, too!
Last, but not least, these sparkle hoops are SO fun for the holidays. They aren’t too heavy, and they come in two other colors as well!
A lot of you are probably trying to figure out what to wear for the holidays, and if you’re like me, you don’t want to spend a ton of money on a dress you’re not going to wear more than once or twice. When I found this black lace dress from Lilly Pulitzer, I had to share it with you! I have loved Lilly Pulitzer since I was young. I loved all the colorful prints and patterns, and that they have other pieces like these classic dresses for the holidays.
It is one that can be worn all year, for various occasions, and so chic and classic.
I love that this dress has lace mesh detailing on the top part of the dress, so I usually wear a strapless bra with it. The bottom part of the dress has really cute tiers with small ruffles for a fun flair to it.
Also! If you purchase and gifts for anyone on your list, or for yourself, you are eligible for some of their Resort Ready Glamour Promos below:
With any Lilly purchase, you will receive these adorable printed hair tie sets. These are great because they don’t dent your hair, so anyone will love these!
If you spend $75, you will receive this really cute Lilly printed headband, and the printed hair tie set!
If you spend $200, you will receive this Lilly printed jewelry box, along with the headband and hair ties! These would all make great gifts for the holidays, or you can keep them for yourself 😉
With being petite, finding a parka puffer jacket that fits properly is a struggle! I am obsessed with this parka jacket from Hollister because it has sherpa lining, so it keeps you super warm.
I love that it is water resistant and has a removable faux fur trim hood. It also has a recycled fill inside, which is great for our environment.
What is also great about this parka jacket is that it is machine washable, so you don’t have to worry about dry cleaning it. Yes, please! It’s on sale right now for $70. I am wearing size xs for reference.
Underneath, I am wearing this grey cable knit sweater, but since this one sold out, this one is similar and so is this one.
This pom pom beanie is so warm and comes in other colors, too! I love how the ivory goes with everything, and keeps your ears warm.
Another great thing about this sherpa parka jacket is that it cinches in the waist, so you can create more of a “waist” and not be swimming in the jacket.
My favorite part about this outfit are these legging jeans! I seriously did not expect to like these jeans as much as I do. They are so stretchy and comfortable, so you can easily wear these all day to travel in, without being uncomfortable. I have size 0 short on, and for you shorties, they come in extra short length, too!
Hollister has such great finds for winter to stay warm. Their parka jackets and beanies are so affordable and cozy. A lot of them are on sale, right now, too!
Happy Giving Tuesday! I wanted to share some ways you can give back to families in need or those who need help, especially during the holidays! See below for all of the ways you can give back, but before I share those, I wanted to share this look with you all, all from Nordstrom.
I love the way this cardigan fits and it is such a good neutral! It is actually on sale right now (wearing xs). I am wearing it with these black ripped jeans and these snakeskin booties (wearing size 7). Underneath, I am wearing this black lace cami in size s. I picked out this entire outfit online, and then was able to pick it up right from my car using in-store pickup.
Now, here are some ways to give back this holiday season:
Who else is pumped for Thanksgiving?! This is one of our favorite holidays, specifically because of the food. Since we are plant based, we thought we would share some desserts we are planning on making!
Before we get into the desserts, we wanted to share about this look first! You all know we love leopard, so we had to have this leopard poncho/cape! It is so cute and warm, and goes with everything! We are wearing it with these black suede boots and black hat from Sole Society. We love this look for date night, thanksgiving, or every day. Their boots and accessories are the best, and they really last so long.
For reference, we are wearing size 7 boots, size 00 jeans, and size xs in the tunic sweater. This black tote bag is such a good work bag, or every day bag. It really holds so much, and we have been using ours as a work bag.
PS- this tunic sweater is SO warm and cozy. Love it with some leggings as well!
We have a major sweet tooth, so we love making healthier desserts to enjoy!
We found a few options that we are deciding between, so see them below:
Pumpkin Pie Squares
These pumpkin pie squares look SO good and are made with very simple ingredients like oat flour, pumpkin, and dates.
Chocolate Mousse Pie
You all know we love chocolate, so we couldn’t resist this chocolate mousse! Our dad is a major chocolate fan, too, so we will definitely be making this one! We love that this one is made with things like oats, cacao, and cashews.
With Thanksgiving only ONE WEEK away, I thought I would share some things I am thankful for this year, since it is always good to remind yourself to be grateful, and why not share it with you all!
First off, this month is totally flying by, which is crazy. It was just Halloween, right? Before I get into what I am grateful for, I wanted to share this perfect Thanksgiving outfit idea with you all from Express. This cable knit tunic sweater is one I had from last year that I loved SO much that I got it again this year in a different color. I am wearing it with these faux leather leggings that can be worn with so many things. I have size xs in both for reference! *PS- Use code 8144 for $25 Off $100 in-store and online*
There are so many things I am grateful for, but here are some of my top ones:
Having the best family in the world
I have always been close with my parents and Samantha, but each year I get older I really realize how important family is. There is nothing like family to lean on, to share with, to be vulnerable with, and to look up to. I wouldn’t be who I am without them, and I am grateful for them every day, and Lucy, too!
Getting to wake up and do what I love every day
Some days, I still can’t believe that this is my job! I get to wake up and do what I love every day. My favorite part of my job is getting to interact with you all day. No matter how stressed or overwhelmed I feel with my job, I always feel so blessed that this is my life.
Having my health back
You all know that I had a few health issues, a little while ago, so I am so grateful and thankful that I feel so much better now, and have energy to workout, to work, and to feel my best. Once you lose feeling “normal”, you really learn to appreciate feeling well. Always a good reminder to take care of yourself.
Being single and getting to grow as an individual
As much as I hate being single, it really has allowed me to really focus on ME: To learn who I am, what I want in life, and who I want to be. It is not always easy, trust me I have my moments, but I am grateful for this season of embracing the unknown, and looking forward for whatever the future brings.
Forming so many great friendships
Because I have been single, and Samantha isn’t, it has forced me to make newer friendships and continue building the ones I already had. Since I have more free time, it has been great because I have built some great friendships and memories.
Things not working out
This is not an easy pill to swallow at times, but really, things happen for a reason, especially things that don’t go the way you “planned”. I am a planner, so I plan things out in my head, but usually, it is never the way I think it will go. It ends up always working out, just differently, and usually for the better!
So many things this year didn’t go the way I “wanted” them to, but they ended up being so much better this way, and I know there are more great things ahead!
Thank you all for following me on my journey through life, and I love hearing about yours, too!
