Happy Monday! In case you have the Monday blues, we are sharing a GREAT sale taking place at one of our favorite retailers, Nordstrom. They are offering up to 40% off on super cute pieces, and even stuff for spring!
It is finallyyyy the weekend! This week has felt so long for some reason, or just kind of felt “off”. Has that ever happened to you all? We are back today with a requested topic: what do if you don’t exactly love going out. We are probably a very small percentage of 20 somethings that don’t exactly like “going out”. Even in college, we would go out, but it wasn’t one of our favorite things to do. Of course, it can be hard when it seems like almost ALL of your friends and acquaintances enjoy doing that in his/her free time. We wanted to share some of our tips that we have used in the past (and still today) to deal with it. First off, we want to tell you all that we FULLY believe in sticking true to yourself and what you enjoy doing. It doesn’t matter if everyone else, except for you is doing that. It can be hard when you feel like you’re alone in that regard, and can be hard to not fall into peer-pressure (we have all been there). Some of our tips/alternatives for not going out are:
Meet people that have common interests with you, or have other hobbies besides going out
Get involved in other activities like volunteering, working out, etc.
Go out to brunch/dinner with friends (even if they are drinking or “partying”, you can still have a nice meal and have fun!)
Embrace going out once in a while (we still have fun sipping water!)
To be honest, we can both be a little reserved, but that isn’t really the reason that we don’t particularly enjoy going out. We are just more of a “chill” type of person, and enjoy going out to dinner or a movie, or just hanging in with friends or family. Now, about this outfit: These super cute suede clogs and pink clutch are from Sole Society. They are seriously our go-to for sandals and booties all-year-round. All of their stuff is a great price point (usually under $100!) We also love all of their bags and accessories. This striped tee is a great basic top for spring and is super cute layered under this cardigan.
1: Ruched Dress: hands down, the best dress EVER. It is so flattering an comes in 7 colors! We have the smallest size. You can dress it up or down!
2: Yellow Strappy Sandals: these are so cute for spring and summer. They also come in a lot of other colors, but we thought the yellow was so fun! You can wear these with jeans, shorts, dresses, etc.
3: Denim Cutoff Shorts: We love a good pair of denim shorts. These are a great price point and they look super cute with sneakers, sandals, or slip ons!
4: Medium Wash Denim: This pair of denim is a great year-round denim. They are stretchy and have a super fun, frayed hem.
5: Lacy Cami: This lace cami comes in three colors (including red) and is really cute under a denim jacket, cardigan, or blazer!
6: Tassel Earrings: Love a good pop of color! These are the perfect amount of statement, without being over the top!
8: Lace Bralette: We have been dying to snag one of these! This color is adorable and sooo cute under a tee or sweater.
9: Straw Clutch: Such a fun bag for getaways! Love the colorful tassel zipper. (side note: just realized it sold out, so this one is a similar option)
10: Marble Phone Case: There is something about marble that is so classic and chic. We definitely gravitate towards marble, and this case actually protects your phone!
11: Aviator Sunglasses: This style of sunglass shape is flattering on any face shape, and at $60, they are a great deal!
Happy Monday! With spring around the corner, we wanted to share our favorite blush pieces because it is one of our favorite colors for spring! It is super flattering on any skin tone, and just a great neutral overall.

Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, we wanted to share this super cute red dress (ON SALE!!) + some of our favorite Dallas spots for date night (mostly restaurants since we LOOOOOVE to eat, haha). Before we get into our favorite spots, we have to talk about this red dress. It is actually super comfy and can be worn so many ways! We paired it with a leather jacket, but you could also wear it with a denim jacket and some converse to dress it down!We don’t know about y’all, but like we said, we love to eat, and good thing our boyfriends love to eat as much as we do, haha! We usually spend our weekends thinking about where we are going to eat and love finding new places on Yelp to try!So, here are our favorite spots, and what we like to order:
