As y’all can tell, we are pretty much obsessed with camo. Whether it is a tee, pants, or a sweatshirt, we will rock it! It is one of those prints that can be mixed and matched with other prints like stripes, leopard, and plaid. You can make it more girly with some blush or pink, or just pair it with a solid like white or black.

You all may have noticed we have been spending a lot of time in Rockwall, Texas. Our parents actually moved from El Paso, Texas to Rockwall a couple of months ago, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled! Instead of being a 10-hour drive away, they are now only 45 minutes away, which is a total game changer! We are at their place all of the time, and honestly, we act like we are moving in sometimes, haha. We wanted to share some of our favorite things about Rockwall, and why we love having our parents so close to us. Before we get into that, we wanted to share this lightly layered fall look.

If y’all haven’t been to Rockwall before, and you live close to DFW, you all have to check it out! There is something so peaceful about it, and just slower-paced. They have a huge lake right as you enter the city called Lake Ray Hubbard, and it is so gorgeous! We haven’t had a chance to go on it yet, but you can rent kayaks, boats, paddle boards, and jet skis. They also have several restaurants on the lake, too!
Most of the spots we listed above are in the downtown square, where we took these pictures! It is a pretty small little area, but super cute to walk around, especially in this fall weather. They have live music some nights, which is really neat, too!
There are so many reasons why having our parents close to us is a plus. We have always been really close with them, especially since we are the only kids. We haven’t lived close by them since we left for college eight years ago. We didn’t think we would get to live so close to them for at least a couple more years, so we are so grateful that they got this opportunity. Even if it is just getting to go over to their house for dinner, or meeting them halfway, or just knowing they are a short drive away gives us so much comfort.

Fall is here, and normally we are not major fans of fall, but this year, we are actually kind of excited about it! We wanted to share some of our favorite fall activities that we are hoping we get to do this year. Before we get into some of the activities we are looking forward to, we wanted to share an easy transitional outfit for you all that live in Texas or California, where it will be pretty warm for the next couple of months. We love pairing some

Since it is too warm for boots, we love a transitional bootie that you really can wear all year, but especially in the fall. They are super comfy, and can be worn with dresses, jeans, shorts, and leggings. We love a peep toe version for more of these transitional months because you can still show off your cute pedicure and tan.

When you think about bloggers and blogging, you probably don’t think of it as a brand specifically, or at least we didn’t. We wanted to talk today more about blogging, but specifically, viewing yourself as a brand. In case you missed our podcast recently, we shared some tips for starting a blog, and we also talked about branding, and how important that is. We had a few requests to go into more detail, so we are excited to chat more about it with you all! Before we get into that, we wanted to talk about this super easy and SOOO comfy outfit, perfect for transitioning into fall.
Of course, there are times you are going to want to vent or blow off some steam from something that has happened or bothered you, but it is also important to remember that you will leave an impression, especially if they are people you haven’t met before, or don’t know that well. People will probably remember positive things, but they will most definitely remember negative things that you say or do.
You never know who is around you, or who may know someone that is potentially connected to you, so it is always good to keep these things in mind! 
You all may notice that we also try and respond to you all on social media and emails. We are huge on interacting and engaging with you all. Without you all, we wouldn’t be able to do this for a living, and we would feel like we are talking to a computer or phone screen, haha. While it can be difficult and time-consuming to feel like we are always glued to our phones, it is really a priority for us to answer you all at the end of the day. It is always so amazing to us that some of y’all don’t expect us to answer you because of course we would! We are not saying we are anyone special or famous, by any means, but responding and stuff like that is part of your representation as a personal brand, and also how you respond.
September can be a tricky month to shop and dress for.
