Bundled Up

It is finally feeling like winter in Dallas. We had some days where it was in the 70’s, which was incredible, but now we are in the cooler temps, and it doesn’t seem like it is going to warm up anytime soon! On New Years Day, it is supposed to be 20-something degrees, which is SUPER cold for us! We wanted to share this bundled up look that can be easily stripped down for when you are indoors, and get too warm. This cozy fringe scarf is one of our favorite pieces because it is so warm and cozy, and really keeps you feeling warm. Also, can we talk about this adorable pom beanie?!We layered this black cardigan (which can be worn for so many things– like with jeans or over a dress!) over this grey pocket tee (on sale)! We love these two pieces layered with each other with jeans, or even with a skirt! To finish the look, we added these cropped black leggings (great if you’re petite, like us!) and they are super cute with our fave black slip ons. If you haven’t purchased these shoes yet, highly recommend them.
This black bag is a great bag for an everyday bag, and can be worn throughout the year. Such a a classic! Nordstrom, specifically their Young Contemporary department, is definitely one of our favorite places to shop, as y’all can tell!;) They have so many pieces that we love, all at a great price point AND they’re having a major SALE right now! Can y’all believe NYE is less than a week away?! It seems like we just started 2017. Okay, maybe not, but it has flown by for sure. In case you missed it, we shared some dresses for NYE in this post, but today, we are sharing a casual and cozy outfit that is still a little glam, but not as dressy. This look would be perfect for those of y’all staying in and having some friends over, or just chilling. You don’t have to be in sweats (which does sound amazing!) if you’re at home. This outfit is the perfect combination of casual and glitzy, without being too much! First, we have to talk about these gold flats. How FUN are these?! Perfect with a skirt or jeans! They run a little small for reference. They would also be cute with all black or white!This clutch is a perfect pop of blush, and we love how it doesn’t exactly match the flats, but it all works together so well. It has a really cool knitted texture to it, and would also be cute with all black or white. You could totally wear this bag into the spring and summer, too!This beanie is so cozy and it is cashmere, yes please! The grey just goes with everything and it’s on SALE!! We layered this eyelash cardigan on top of a black cami and some ripped jeans to pull the whole look together. It’s comfy, and you can totally layer down if you get too warm. This exact sweater sold out, but this one is similar and the same color!Sole Society is one of our go-to spots for all things accessories and shoes. They have a great selection of pieces at a great price point (usually under $100) and their stuff is just on point! Happy Friday! It is almost Christmas, which means we are all scrambling to get last minute gifts! In case you have missed any of our gift guides, you can see them all here. Lace and Fringe For The Holidays

Funny story behind these pictures that we had to share with y’all! We had planned on shooting this look for a couple of days already, and of course, the one day we chose, it happens to be 30 degrees outside. UGH. Also, since the shirt is lace, it was basically like wearing no top, haha. We almost changed it to another day, but we toughed it out, and so glad the pictures actually turned out, and that you can’t tell how cold it actually was outside. This is probably one of our favorite looks we have shot thats on the dressier side because it is just so classic and fun! You can totally wear it for any holiday or NYE coming up. This fringe skirt is so timeless, and can be worn with so many pieces!
We are wearing a size 0 in the skirt, and it does run a little big (we are 5’1″ for reference!) You could wear it with another blouse, or even dress it down with a denim button up. It would also be super cute with a velvet or black blazer.We paired it with this emerald lace blouse that is SO cute on (wearing XS). It has the cutest peter pan collar-LOVE and is just a great pop of color!We added a black lace bralette underneath just to add something fun to peek through, but you could also do a cami underneath if you want to be more covered.This emerald velvet clutch just seemed like the prefect accessory for this outfit. You can also tuck in the chain to the bag, and wear it as a clutch.This entire holiday look is from Modcloth. They have so many adorable pieces for the holidays and NYE- all at a great price point!
