How To Make Traveling Easier (And Less Stressful)

How To Make Traveling Easier (And Less Stressful)Y’all know that we are frequent travelers, and we had a reader question that we are so excited to answer today! We know that a lot y’all don’t really like traveling. Lets be honest, who actually enjoys it?! Between having to pack all your belongings up, getting to the airport early, going through security and basically unloading again, to then waiting for your flight to be delayed, and then sitting on the plane, and then waiting for your luggage.. oh man, it is exhausting! We don’t personally have a fear of flying, but we wanted to share our tips for flying easier (and less stressful) and some of our must-have travel items!

Before we get into that, we wanted to share this cute, but comfy look that would actually be great for traveling! A comfy tee, like this varsity tee is great because it looks more put-together than your typical baggy tee, and who doesn’t love grey? We paired it with our favorite stretchy ripped jeans (great for long flights) and come in a darker color, too and these olive booties that go with everything! This bag is a great everyday bag and it matches everything. How To Make Traveling Easier (And Less Stressful)We don’t typically like to travel in anything but workout clothes, haha, but this is a great outfit that basically feels like you’re in leggings and a comfy tee, just more acceptable! How To Make Traveling Easier (And Less Stressful)

Now, onto our travel tips! We are not major fans of traveling, but we have gotten used to it over time, and we think there a few things that just make traveling so much easier:

  • Book An Aisle Seat:
    • This just makes it better for us. A lot of people prefer window seats, but we both prefer an aisle. You don’t have to bug anyone to get out of your seat, and it just feels more open to us!
  • Bring Things To Occupy Yourself Like Books, Magazines, Music, Podcasts:
    • We love bringing magazines or listening to podcasts while we are traveling. It just asks the time pass by quicker and takes your mind off the flight.
  • Buy Seats With Extra Leg Room:
    • We think it is totally worth it to buy the seats with extra leg room! It just makes you feel less trapped and constricted in those tiny seats!

  • Bring A Neck Pillow:
    • If you have a good neck pillow, you are more likely to be able to sleep better, which can make all the difference. This neck pillow has great reviews!
  • Think Of The Experiences You Will Get To Have:
    • Think about all the fun things you will get to see and the people you will get to meet on your journeys. If you don’t make yourself go on the flight, you’ll miss out on so many opportunities!
  • Travel With A Buddy:
    • Traveling with someone makes it so much better! You have someone to talk to, and someone to keep you company!
