Happy Tuesday! We hope you all are having a great week so far. It is officially fall, so we are excited to share this look with you all that is perfect to transition into cooler temps. What is so great about this outfit is that you can take off the wrap/shawl and just rock a basic tee with jeans!We know SO many of you all loved this striped cocoon wrap, and unfortunately it did sell out as of now, but we will keep checking and keep you posted if we find it again! We did find this one and this one that are striped and a similar concept.We paired this striped wrap with a basic white tee and some ripped jeans (wearing size 25).We actually got these booties last year, and wore them so much that we decided to get them again! They are the perfect heel height and look great with dresses, jeans, and leggings. We got a size 6.5 for reference. This bag is a great neutral and can be worn on your shoulder with the shorter or longer strap.And, now we wanted to share some of our tips on how to wear stripes:
Opt for a thinner stripe for a more flattering look (or a mix of thick and thin stripes)
If you’re going for stripes on the bottom for pants, opt for vertical
Mix and match stripes (vertical with horizontal, thicknesses, etc.)

Depending on what kind of look suits you best, we have three different types of outfits. Of course, you can mix and match these, and wear all of these pieces with something else in your closet.

We actually got most of this outfit during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so we can’t wait to show you how you can transform this look! This cami is one that we have in several colors (wearing size s) and it is just too good to pass up! You can wear it with jeans, or dress it up with a pencil skirt or some black jeans! We paired the cami with one of our go-to cardigans (wearing xxs) and some dark jeans (wearing size 24) for an easy daytime look. You could wear some slip on sneakers like these or mules like these.To take this look into evening, or for a comfortable, but put-together date night look, we styled our FAVORITE dressy sandals with it. We honestly hadn’t really thought of styling these sandals with jeans, but after one of us wore them to a wedding, and loved how they looked and felt, we thought, “why not?” We ended up loving how they looked with some dark denim, or maybe some light wash ripped denim! BTW- they fit true-to-size!This bag is a great every day one because it goes with pretty much everything AND it holds a lot. Also, you can wear it on your arm, shoulder, or cross-body!This entire day-to-night look is from Nordstrom. It is our favorite place to grab any kind of item for fall, and with their in-store-pickup, online shopping is a no brainer. It couldn’t be easier! They also have curbside pick-up, which is even better because you don’t even have to get out of your car. We used it most recently to pick up an order when we were in our pjs, haha!

You all may have read that we have been struggling with some health issues recently (more on those in this post and this post), and not only have we switched up our diet a little bit, but we also made some big changes in our beauty products. We honestly had NO idea that what you’re putting on your body and skin could have a huge impact on your health as well. Obviously, it makes total sense thinking about it now, but we never really paid any attention to that aspect of it. In case you all don’t know (because we didn’t either), conventional deodorants, like the ones we used to use on a daily basis, contain aluminum, which may be linked to some serious health conditions, including breast cancer and Alzheimer’s. That is pretty scary, right?! Once we heard that, we wanted to find a deodorant that was safe and non-toxic, but that actually worked! Nobody wants sweaty pits, haha! We honestly tried a few other brands out, and were just not happy with how they left us feeling or smelled. We were pleasantly surprised once we tried this Native Deodorant out!Their deodorants are made with very simple ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, and tapioca starch, which we love. Happy Thursday! We are off to Mexico today for a fun trip, so be sure to check out our stories and Instagram accounts to follow along! We have been getting SOOOO many questions about the celery juice we have been drinking every morning. We wanted to talk all about that in this post to cover all of that, but before we get into that, we wanted to talk about this easy, transitional fall look with you all! When we are heading into fall, we are all about pairing some jeans with some booties and an easy wrap or sweater! All of the accessories we have here are from Sole Society, and we seriously LOVE their stuff. It is all so affordable and so pulled together. This exact wrap sold out, but we did find this one that is really cute! We paired it with this grey bag (great for all year, especially fall!) and these black booties that are ahhhmazing. Love these so much that we got them in the neutral color, too. We went for some dark jeans and a black tee with this, but you could also do a skirt or dress underneath!
Now, alllll about the celery juice. In case you missed our podcast episode on this, you can listen here. We started following The Medical Medium about a month ago, and have been all about his protocol ever since. We honestly never thought we would be drinking juices, let alone, be eating mostly plant-based, but we can honestly say it has been the best thing we have done recently! We shared about our health struggles in this post, but basically we have tried everything else to feel better, and this is the only thing that we have seen benefits from. So, you are probably wondering, “Why the celery juice?” The Medical Medium talks all about it here, but basically it has a TON of benefits including lowering blood pressure, prevents chronic diseases, has anti-inflammatory properties, lowers cholesterol, prevents digestive disorders, and balances blood sugar, just to name a few! The benefits are endless. It sounds too good to be true, but we honestly haven’t felt this much energy in a long time. We are definitely not 100%, but we are feeling better and feel like we are on the mend.
It is best to drink the celery juice alone (we drink it right after we drink some lemon water upon waking). We do not combine it with any other vegetables, just the PLAIN celery.We are going to answer some common questions we have gotten below:
HOW DO YOU MAKE IT?
We use this juicer and use one head of celery to make ONE serving of celery juice. So, for both of us, we use two heads of celery. All you have to do is rinse off the celery, put it in your juicer, and that’s it! If you do use a vitamix, you will have to strain out the pulp.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DRINK IT?
It is best to drink on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning before eating! If not, you can drink it 15-30 minutes before eating.CAN YOU MAKE IT AHEAD OF TIME?
According to our research, it is best to make it fresh the day of, but if you have to, you can make it 24 hours ahead of time, and store it in a sealed jar in the fridge.
IS THE TASTE BAD?
We honestly like it now, but it is a little bitter. You get used to it, and knowing it is so good for you, helps a lot! It tastes better than eating straight celery. CAN YOU JUST EAT THE CELERY?
