Many of you all may not know, but we are extremely petite! I know every time we meet someone, they are like, “We didn’t expect you all to be so tiny!” Too funny, right? We are only 5’1″, and many of you all will usually ask us how the sizing is on stuff we are wearing, like if it is too long or something, and all I can think is, “I am a midget, haha”! Everything is long on us, but I have been able to find some GREAT jeans that fit perfectly and the rips are actually in the right spot, not down at my ankle! #shortpeopleproblems
Anyways, I got a few requests to share my favorite jeans, so I thought I would do a little roundup of my faves!
This white pair is AMAZING. I know, I know, they are just jeans, but really, I actually ordered another of the same pair because they’re that good. They are super stretchy, the holes fit right in my knee, and they are not too long. Basically, they are perfect! And, they’re marked down for under $50! They are kind of low in stock, so I found a few similar option for you all, too!
These ripped ones are also great. They are the same brand as the white ones, and they are super stretchy, aka they feel like leggings!
These are a little bit more of an investment, but they are so worth it. They are stretchy and have just the right amount of holes, without being too hole-y!

With July 4th in just a couple of days (can you believe it?!), we thought we would share a couple of outfit ideas to wear to a BBQ or picnic. Of course, I am sure we will all by the pool and in a swimsuit at some point, but for some events, you want to look put-together and chic! It is SO hot in Texas right now, so the last thing I want to do is wear something tight or stuffy. This flowy tank is perfect for this weather.This outfit is great for an outdoor barbecue or cookout. The black criss-cross cami is super breathable and light and is super chic, but also has some edge to it with the detailing at the top. We paired it with some white distressed jeans that are perfect for summer. Can we talk about how CUTE this watermelon bag is? I mean, isn’t it SO perfect for this holiday weekend? It can be worn with dresses, shorts, etc, but I just love the pop it brings to this outfit. I also paired it with these gold and black espadrille wedges that are super comfy because of the platform, but give you some heigh (which I always need, haha).And, for a little bit of a different look, how cute is this lace, flowy dress?! All of the pieces we are wearing can definitely be worn for different occasions and other barbecues the rest of the summer and then transition into fall! I have a major love for anything peplum, so when I saw that this top was $16 AND gingham, I had to have it. Well, actually, it wasn’t on sale when I bought mine (of course), but I got mine for about $24, so still not bad! I love that Old Navy is carrying petites now because it means everything will fit me the right way without me swimming in it, haha.
