Merry Christmas to all of you! We hope you are having the best time with your families. Even though we are Jewish, and don’t formally celebrate Christmas, we take this time to spend quality time with our family. As you all know, we work a ton of hours, especially this time of year. Since most of the holiday sales craziness is coming to an end, we are taking this time to slow down a little bit! To be honest, it is a tough thing for us to do because we are so type-A, and always put in 110%.
Since we are always “go-go-go”, it is nice to have a few days where we don’t post as much on Instagram, spend more time with family and friends, take some time for some self care, and enjoy this special time.
We would be lying if we said it wasn’t difficult to put stuff away, and be present. It is ingrained in our personalities, and always has been, to always be doing something. We can’t ever seem to sit still, or feel like we have made enough progress to feel satisfied being “done for the day”.
There are definitely some people (most people) that are able to “shut it off”, but that isn’t us most of the time. We remember being younger and would organize our bathroom and rooms for hours, cleaning stuff out, even when it was pretty late. We just have always had that determination.
So, the point is, we are really trying to make an effort to go on that walk without our phones, actually watch a movie without any distractions, take some time to read magazines and do that face mask we had been wanting to do for a while. If you all are feeling the same way, take this time to do the same thing for yourself!
Now, about this look, which is the most important part! 😉 These sparkle, embellished pointed flats are so perfect for winter, and also to transition into spring with. The color goes with everything (we are wearing the”dusted plum” color). We got a size 7 for reference.
We dressed up these black ripped jeans with this metallic bag (actually holds a lot and can be dressed up or down!) and this sparkly twisted turban. We honestly thought it was a headband at first, but this one is so different and fun!
We threw on this suede jacket over this cami for a fun, dressed up denim look perfect for a more casual NYE, or date night!
We got all of these cute accessories (perfect for the new year!!) at Sole Society. Their pieces are all at a great price point (usually under $100), and how cute are they?! We would say 90% of our shoes, bags, and accessories are from them, and they are by far, our go to!

It is officially the holidays! Merry Christmas to all of you all that celebrate! We both hope you have the best time with your family and friends. We will be spending ours with our parents (and Sam with her boyfriend). Even though we are Jewish (so we don’t celebrate Christmas), we love the coziness and together-ness it symbolizes.
We knew when the holidays came around, we wanted to do some updating in our living room and make the space feel cozy, but also functional. We added a few pieces from Walmart like this furry throw blanket to make it feel more “holiday-esque”, without being too much!
If you’re on a budget, which most of us are, especially this time of year, we found some cute pieces that you can add to any space in your home to cozy it up! Some throw pillows like this gold texture fur one and this fringe one are great to throw on the couch, or even on the floor for a little nook.
This furry throw blanket just makes you want to grab a good book or a hot tea and be lazy all day!
We added these ghost chairs, which can be moved around your house, depending on where you want them to be. They are clear, so they don’t take up a lot of “visual space”, and aren’t too heavy (both physically and presence-wise). We move them around from our kitchen table to our couch area, and both spots they look great!
You could also put them at your desk in a home office!
We love setting up little nooks like this area below! We used a cozy sheepskin rug and added some throw pillows. This little tray is perfect for putting these flameless candles for a little romantic setup, or you could put some drinks on there, too!
We love that Walmart makes it so convenient and affordable to add some holiday decor to any space in your home. Their pieces are functional, and surprisingly gorgeous! We love that they make it so easy to shop for specific items because you can shop by style, and then directly add to your cart!

Can’t believe NYE is just a week away! We had a few requests to share some NYE outfit ideas, so we rounded up some of our favorites that you can order ASAP and get in time to try on, etc.

We love a good sparkle piece, and most of the ones we rounded up are under $150, some under $100.
As far as some sequin dress options, we love the colored stripes in #1 and this fluted shape in dress #5.
If you’re looking for a long-sleeved version, dresses #7, #8, and #13 are super cute and can be worn for other events.
Not a dress person? These sparkly skirts are a great option with some heels! #10 is a really pretty pleated option, and #11 is a great gold option!
A jumpsuit is a great option if you want to wear pants, but want something more feminine. We are loving the lace detailing in #14 and the slit in #15.

We know it is not even Christmas yet, but NYE is less than two weeks away, so we wanted to start giving you all ideas of outfits you can put together! If y’all are like us, you don’t like to go buy an entirely new outfit that you will probably only wear once, so we wanted to share a look that you can style with pieces already in your closet, and maybe just add one or two new pieces you can mix and match with like this sequin bomber jacket.
We love that this bomber jacket adds a little sparkle, without being over the top. You can totally dress it down with jeans, too! We love adding a little sparkle to a NYE outfit, why not?! Every time we have gotten something that is too sparkly, we find ourselves not really wearing it again, so this jacket is the perfect amount of shine and sparkle!
We paired this jacket that we found on eBay with our favorite faux leather leggings, black OTK boots, and a black lace cami! You could also wear this jacket over an LBD, too!
