The PUBLICNordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE! In case you missed all of our previous sale posts, you can find them here. Today, we are sharing 5 styled looks with pieces that are in stock!
We know a lot of pieces tend to sell out, so we tried our best to share pieces you can find in stock. Be sure to order items as you see them, as they will sell out VERY quickly. Remember that shipping and returns are free, so it is a no brainer!
Sharing some Nordstrom finds that are still available in most sizes (as of now!). We are size xs in most pieces, and size 7 in the shoes. See below for more about each piece, and more pieces in stock!
We know putting together outfits can be so trick, and looking at the sale can be overwhelming, so we thought we would put together 8 looks you can mix and match with each other, so you can create even more than 8 looks.
Being at home the last month, or even more than that for some, we have all been makeup-free, or trying to keep it pretty natural. We have had some requests to share our typical, everyday makeup routine. We usually keep it pretty simple and at 10 minutes, or less. Nobody has time to spend more time on that than that most days, and we wanted to be easy for beginners to follow as well.
We are sharing our favorite makeup products, which can all be found at Nordstrom. They carry all of our favorite brands, and we love that we can easily restock by ordering online and either pick up curbside, or wait for it to arrive at our door!
We absolutely love a good CC cream. Our mom actually had this Supergoop CC cream a couple months ago, and once we tried it, we were in love. It has great coverage, AND SPF, so you get two things in one! You can also wear this alone, without foundation. We wear the “light/medium” shade.
During these quarantine, all of our lash extensions we normally have, have fallen out, so we are really relying on mascara more than ever. This Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is a great one for anyone, and really makes your lashes look long and full. You can also use a lash primer like this one to really boost them before applying mascara.
There are so many good foundations out there. One of our tried and trued foundations is bareMinerals. We have been wearing their foundation for over ten years, and still love it. We love how it can be layered on as much as you prefer. We wear the “light” shade most of the time.
This is a very important step after applying your foundation. This Charlotte Tilbury setting powder is superfine and leaves your skin looking flawless. We wear the “2 Medium” shade.
To add some color to your cheeks, you need a good blush. We have been wearing this Bobbi Brown blush since high school, and it is still a favorite of ours. We wear the “sand pink” shade.
We all want that glowy, sun-kissed look. There are so many good highlighters out there, and this Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo is one of them. We have the “moonlight” shade, and love applying the darker shade as a bronzer on our jaw, cheeks and forehead, and then layer the lighter shade on the cheekbones, forehead, nose, and anywhere else you want that glow.
Neutral eyeshadow
We don’t wear a lot of eyeshadow, but if we do, we love doing a neutral shade. This Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette has every neutral shade you could ever want. We love using the lightest shade in the corners of our eyes, and the darker shades as eyeliner. The shades in between are perfect for the lids.
Setting spray + primer
If you’re wanting your makeup to *really* last all day and night long, this Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray is a game changer. It is super lightweight and really locks your makeup in place.
They also make a primer that you could use before your CC cream or foundation to really grip the foundation in place and create a good base layer on your skin.
Lip color
One of our most asked questions is our lip color. Both of these shades are super close, and it is because it is our favorite color to wear. It gives the perfect amount of color to your lips for daytime, without looking too much, and can be worn in the evening as well.
This MAC Lip Lacquer stays all-day-long, without feeling heavy. We wear the “lacquered up” shade.
The other option is this Bobbi Brown Crushed Lipstick. It is matte and buildable, meaning you can add one layer, or more, depending on how intense you want the color. We wear the “cabana” shade.
Makeup tools
Last, but not least, are the makeup tools we use on a regular basis.
We love using this Beautyblender sponge to apply foundation, or even setting powder. You can clean it after every use easily and it gives you an easy, even application
This silicon pad has been a favorite of ours for a while. You can easily clean all your brushes by wiping them on this pad with soap. It really helps to get into the grooves and deep into the bristles. They now have updated it to a mitten, which is even easier to use!
We didn’t get our second hole in our ears pierced until last fall, but we are SO glad we did. We kind of want a third piercing, but for now, we wanted to share some ways to layer earrings. Similar to necklace and other jewelry layering, there is a method to it, and it is fun to play around!
we love mixing up metals like gold, rose gold, and silver. That way, it all goes together and you can’t really go wrong. We love these stackable rings are so pretty and we love that you can wear them separate or together.
This cuff earring is so cool because it looks like you have a double piercing, but you really only need one hole to wear it! It also looks cute with other earrings.
We found all of these earrings and necklaces to layer at Nordstrom. Since we can’t shop in store, we LOVE that we can order everything online, and either pick up in store, or have it shipped directly to our house!
You all know we are major fans of the Spanx faux leather leggings, and own four pairs of them (not obsessed at all!)! We thought we would share our top three leggings to invest in!
We shared several ways to style them in this post, in case you missed it! Not only are these leggings the best, they last for years, and you can dress them up or down! We have size xs and size s petite for reference. We recommend sizing up in them because they are pretty fitted!
These leggings sculpt your butt, and are great for any type of workout. There is a pocket in the back for your phone, and the material is very flattering. They also stay up, which is a a major plus!
This pair comes in lots of colors and are almost like a second skin! You can wear them higher waisted, or fold over the waistband. They also can be worn for workouts or for casual wear.
We found this head-to-toe look at Nordstrom. We love shopping there because they carry all of our favorite brands, and the in-store pickup, and curbside pickup is our best friend. Seriously, SO convenient!
