This past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the incredible weather, gorgeous resort grounds, and incredible food, we had an amazing time while we were there. It is only about a two-and-a half-hour flight from Dallas, and just a quick 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. We used Uber, and it was super easy and quick! What 1we loved the most was that they are a quick walk to the Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, which has tons of restaurants and shopping, which we definitely took advantage of. We ate restaurants like True Foods Kitchen, Breakfast Kitchen (their pancakes are AMAZING), and stores like Madewell, Anthropologie, and DryBar. Does it get better than that?!
The resort itself has over 730 rooms, including 55 suites. We loved that the resort highlights Arizona’s colors and textures throughout the grounds. The room was very spacious, and had the comfiest beds. They even left a chocolate and some lavender essential oils every evening to get in some relaxation before bedtime. Of course, one of the most important parts of any hotel to us is the gym. They have a 24-hour fitness studio equipped with treadmills, bikes, free weights, cable machines, and weight , machines. They also offer New Balance Gear Lending (you can rent tennis shoes and workout gear!). They also offer daily fitness classes, including yoga, and have two tennis courts. While this is not part of the hotel, we did get some suggestions from the super helpful concierge there on hiking Camelback. We opted to hike the Cholla side, which is still moderately intense (less crazy than the Echo side, which is a lot of rock-climbing). It took us about 2-3 hours (of course, it included a TON of pics and yoga poses, duh!), and we really did have a lot of fun doing it. The climb up was definitely easier than the climb down. There were a few close calls when it came to falling right on our faces, haha!
This was the view from Camelback Mountain!Their pools are incredible and offer fun for the whole family, and even a quiet pool for adults, only. The family-friendly pool offers an Adventure Water Park, complete with a 110-foot-long waterslide, 900-foot lazy river, and the Kierland FlowRider board sport stimulator, where you can surf and bodyboard! We didn’t get a chance to try these activities out, but they looked like TONS of fun! We did a get chance to lay by the pool, and enjoy a cocktail and soak in some sun!
Even though we are not golf-experienced, our room was right on the beautiful, Westin Kierland Golf Club. It offers 27 holes, and players can even experience a Scottish golf program.
We were also very close to their amazing spa, Agave. Many of their treatments incorporate the plant in them. The spa also has a salon, movement studio, sauna and steam rooms, and a juice bar. A great one-stop-shop!In addition to the fun water activities, fitness, and golf, they also offer some other fun activities like s’mores on the weekend evenings (OUR FAVE!), and a live bagpipe player at sunset each evening.
Another very important thing to us is FOOD! The Westin Kierland offers 10 dining venues, including Deseo, which is an upscale Latino cuisine. We had the pleasure of dinging with them on Saturday during our stay, and enjoyed every single bite, more on that later! They also have a coffee bar, Coffee Flats, and The Scotch Library, which has over 30 blends of whisky, and offers tastings. Although we are not major scotch drinkers, it sounded so fun to try out!We loved sitting by the bonfire at night. SO relaxing! Now, about our dinner at Deseo, which was AMAZING! Their menu includes a variety of dishes, including lobster ceviche, grilled seafood, and meats. They have incredible, refreshing cocktails offered at their Muddle Bar, where they blend fresh fruits (mango and strawberries) with fresh herbs (basil and mint) with your favorite spirit. Our favorite dishes were the Lobster Ceviche, Hangar Steak with Chimmichurri, and of course, the dessert, Chocolate Cigar with Espresso Ice Cream (y’all we totally demolished BOTH desserts we tried) We are dreaming about them, just thinking about them right now. Y’all must try this spot!
They gave us the recipe for these amazing rolls that are GF and filled with cheese! I could have eaten a ton of these. Overall, our experience there was nothing short of amazing. It was the perfect Galentine’s getaway. We had incredible service and weather the entire stay, and would highly recommend it to y’all! Please let us know if you have any questions, as always!
PS- check back on Sunday for our Scottsdale recommendations! I know a few of y’all were asking about it! A special thanks to the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa for our accommodations. All opinions are our own.
We thought we’d share a gift guide for all the girl bosses in your life, or yourself! These gift ideas can also be used for someone who travels a lot for work! We are always on-the-go, so these are all of our must-haves! Here’s why we love one of these pieces:
This olive tote is great for traveling, or just an everyday bag! The leather is super soft, and buttery, and has the cutest studs on the sides! I love that it can fit a laptop and bunch of other stuff in there if you need to run some errands and get some work done at a coffee shop or something! It is also a great work bag!
Business cards are a must, even though I am terrible about carrying mine with me! This glitter business card holder is a great reminder to take them, and you can just throw it in your bag to store them all!
I just ordered this planner! First off, it is is super cute, but I used to be one of those people that was like, “I don’t even need to write stuff down, I got it all”! Until, I had a breakdown because I felt SO overwhelmed, so I think writing stuff down to remember all the of calls, emails, and places I need to be is SUPER helpful! And, who doesn’t like getting to cross completed tasks off their lists, right?
This leather organizer looks AMAZING! I am all about being super organized, so I love that this lets you fit all your tech accessories in all nice and organized!

This past week I was fortunate enough to travel to Portland to experience the Nike World Headquarters. If I could sum it up in one word (okay, two) it would be Disney Land. It was incredible! I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but whatever it was, if you could imagine the coolest people (I mean, they design THE most innovative (and cool) products surrounded by most beautifully landscaped grounds, there you have the Nike campus!
During my two day trip to Portland, the program was focused on Nike Women. I remember my driver saying on the way to the hotel the first night, ‘Nike will have you busy from dawn to dusk,’ and boy was he right! I’m not complaining, though! I am all about fitting in as much as possible and experiencing the most you can. On the first day, there was an optional yoga class taught by the talented Krissy Jones bright and early (6:30 A.M.)—luckily, Portland is within the Pacific time zone, so it didn’t feel too early! After yoga, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our big day ahead!
We arrived on the gorgeous Nike Campus, and I had to laugh to myself because the driver (yes, same one) also told me that it’s so well manicured, that he swears Nike has little elves that come in at dark and make sure everything is perfect! First stop was the Tiger Woods Center. On our way there, we got to walk around the campus. We walked through the Nike Hall of Fame and even saw some Olympic athletes training. They had a delicious breakfast spread ( I could certainly get used the delicious AND healthy options they had displayed for me daily 😉 ), during which we heard from Amy Montagne, VP/GM of Global Nike Women, and saw a gorgeous display of shoes (it seriously looked like artwork!) and watched some super inspirational nike videos (you know the ones that make you just want to get after it and ‘just do it’)!We also heard from Martin Lotti, VP and Nike Global Category Creative Director, speak about his journey (so inspirational!). He also discussed how the intersection of performance, style, and soul is woven into every nike design.
After that, we walked to another space that featured different Nike designers’ takes on natural motion, specifically called, “Experiments in Natural Motion” collection. Nathan Jobe, Senior Design Director of NSW Footwear Innovation, showed us how each designer experimented with flyknit uppers and unique materials to create interesting shoes that were featured in a Nike exhibition at Milano Design Week 2016.
The space also featured artifacts and history from the start of what Nike came to be. It was so cool reading about how Geoff Hollister packed his VW van with running shoes and literally drove around to different high schools and colleges and sold the new line of shoes. It was interesting to learn about how the iconic Nike Waffle Trainer came to be.
Then, it was time to head to the Blue Ribbon Studio, a newly built creative space that designers at Nike can use to play around and create things. It was amazing to see machinery such as sewing machines, screen printing, and rolls and rolls of fabric (which I later saw on a shoe for Spring/Summer 2017—SO cool!). Here, we each got to make our own tote bag with whatever we wanted! Everyone was so creative, and every single designer or employee I encountered was just so happy and more than willing to help! Having worked at a corporate job, it was SO refreshing to see!
Once we made our bags, we got to see hear from Georgina James, Design Director of NSW Women’s Footwear, Theo Wang, Concept Director of Women’s Training, and Helen Boucher, VP of Women’s Training. Of course, they were super stylish and so sweet! They gave a brief preview of the super hard work that goes goes into creating apparel and footwear. They also had beautiful models to show some of the new pieces from the 2017 collection. I specifically LOVED the new mesh legging that is coming out in 2017— the phone stayed in the mesh pocket, even during a workout!
After we had the most delicious lunch, we headed back the the Tiger Woods Center for our Nike Training Club workout! Before the workout, we went to our very own personalized lockers that had some super cute kicks and a full outfit! It was fun because everybody was dressed in some variation of the same pieces! We then met with our trainer, Ben Monk . He gave a killer workout and he wasn’t bad to look at either 😉
We did a bunch of drills and also partnered off, which was fun to get to know the other girls. Having not done a ton of NTC workouts, I loved it, and will definitely by doing them more often! Following the workout, we headed back to the hotel and had a delicious dinner that evening. We definitely got our sweat on! The next morning began with another great yoga class (loved starting my day off that way!) and then another busy day at Nike! We also started in the Nike Lab, which is super secure, so I was so psyched we got to see it! They had an entire wall of every pair of Nikes that have been made starting from the 1970’s until present. It was so cool to see the progression and how the styles and colors have evolved. We also got to hear from Julie Igarashi, VP and Creative Director for Nike Running and NikeWomen, and Martin Lotti, who showed some of the pieces that Maria Sharipova and Serena wore during the US Open and how Nike caters to each athlete individually.
Additionally, we also had the opportunity to hear about the progression of Nike Air engineering. First Nike Air model
It was so cool to learn about the technology and how much it’s evolved from the start to present. They are releasing the Nike Air VaporMax, which are the lightest pair they’ve made and 100% sustainable. The other incredible shoe we got to learn about was the Nike Hyperadapt from Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator—think Back to the Future shoes! They sense your foot and auto lace for you! I got to try on a pair later that day, and they were SO cool! Felt like it was a magic shoe! I shared them at work on my snapchat that day!Following that we headed back to the Tiger Woods Center, where they had the same gorgeous display of shoes they had the first day, EXCEPT this time, we couldn’t take any photos because they were previewing the new kicks for Spring and Summer ’17. Let me just say that I am utterly obsessed with every single one of them! I can already kiss my bank account goodbye!Andrea Corradini, Senior Product Director of NSW Women, talked about some the inspiration behind the new lines for next year: innovation, modern comfort, and obsessing about the materials. As a result of these fundamentals, classics like the ‘Cortez’ and ‘Blazer’ are going to be released in gorgeous fabrics like satin leather, and velvet. Got these in the black, and I’m so psyched to wear them! Most definitely getting these in the spring!
Cortez in satin, yes please!
Additionally, portions of the classics like the ‘Air Flow’ and ‘Air Presto’ were taken together and molded to form the most gorgeous shoe, ‘Lunarcharge’. Ya’ll I’m obsessed! Some of the colors have been released just now, and they will continue releasing more into 2017. She also went further into the color scheme for 2017—expanding to neutrals and then to pale pinks and lavenders to fit under the theme ‘from dawn to dusk’. They will also be releasing the new Air Max in the summer that has a rainbow bottom that fits under the ‘#BeTrue’ collection.
During the rest of the day, we got to see a makeshift ‘store’ that housed most of the apparel and footwear for 2017. Again, such beautiful pieces! Most of the line focuses on proportion, bold color blocking and graphics, and nesting (layering pieces together through mesh and open backs). It also focused on reactive color mixed with black and white—LOVE!
After obsessing over every piece of clothing, we headed back to the Tiger Woods Center to sit down and have an open forum with several very empowering women, including olympic boxer, Marlen Esparza. We discussed the difficulties us, women, face, and specifically, how each of them have overcome obstacles. One thing that really stood out to me was when Marlen did not qualify for the 2016 Olympics, she still was super happy for her fellow competitors that did make it and were competing in Rio. Instead of being bitter, she watched them and cheered them on. Such a powerful statement. She talked about how women should lift each other up and be happy for competitors and friends and not to be jealous. I could not agree more! Such truth behind those powerful words!
Reflecting on this amazing experience, I was humbled to be surrounded not only by the INCREDIBLE designers at Nike, but by these incredible women that were on the journey with me. Most of them were some form of editor for a well known magazine (that I read on the regular)—think Glamour, Women’s Health, Elle, etc. These girls were clearly bright and successful, and yet so humble! Nobody was catty or rude, which made this trip that much better. Not only did I bring home some amazing Nike goods (obsessed with my Blazer kicks and Apple watch!), but I also took with me so much appreciation behind what I already knew was an awesome brand!
A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort. The resort itself is located on a secluded, 2.5 mile beach in Cabo San Lucas. This resort in all-inclusive is catered to adults only, meaning that you won’t find screaming kids around you, especially if you’re looking for relaxing getaway! They have four gourmet restaurants on the property, as well as an incredible spa. In December, they will be debuting a brand-new, ultra-luxe “resort-within-a-resort” expansion called TheTowers at Pacifica. It will offer upscale accommodations, a 24-hour butler service, elevated dining experiences, and exclusive access to a new VIP Towers Lounge. We had the opportunity to stay in the new tower before it was completely finished, and the rooms were incredible! The room featured a gorgeous bed and headboard, which was super modern and elegant. It had a ton of lighting (which we have not seen often), USB ports to charge your electronic devices, a gorgeous patio, and motion-detected lighting in parts of the room! We never wanted to leave our room, and felt totally at-home! They also had a great full-length mirror, which you all know we are all about;)They have a great gym filled with cardio equipment, free weights, as well as machines. We were able to get in a great workout each day! They also offer a ton of workout classes that are complimentary!
They have several pools on the property, and we had a chance to spend some time at each of them. One of them is an infinity pool that overlooks the gorgeous beach and plays calmer, more acoustic music throughout the day. The other pool we sat at was also really nice, and played a playlist of all of the top hits, which we loved! I didn’t even have to play my music because it was exactly what I would listen to on my own! The chairs are super comfy and have a great seat cushion on them, so you are totally relaxed. You can also order food and drinks poolside, which of course, we gladly partook in! We don’t usually drink, but we ordered this drink which was vodka, sparkling water, and fresh mint blended together with ice that was SO refreshing. I literally gulped it down both times I had it, haha, and that is totally unlike me! The waiters at the pool were super friendly and accommodating, which always makes a huge difference. Now, about the food, aka the most important part! I will admit, I was a little nervous about the food, considering we were at an all-inclusive resort, and how particular I am about how my food is prepared. I was super surprised at how easy and accommodating it was to eat healthy and the way I normally do while we stayed there! For breakfast, at Siempre, they had a ton of options at the buffet like fresh fruit, amazing pastries and breads, oatmeal, hot food items like eggs, refried beans, roasted potatoes, and other Mexican specialties like enchiladas and tostadas. They also had an omelette station, where you could get eggs prepared however you like them. We both ordered our usual egg white omelettes with vegetables, and the sweet lady making them everyday remembered our order every morning! She was adorable, and so accommodating! They also offered a variety of salsas to top your eggs with (LOVE!). My favorite part of the breakfast was that they had egg whites with salsa and veggies in the actual buffet! I had never seen that before, but I absolutely loved it!For lunch and dinner, they have several restaurants to eat at such as Siempre, Pescados (sushi), and Aire. We usually ordered a salad and grilled chicken with some veggies of some sort, and they were all super accommodating and willing to make our order the way we wanted it. They also offer 24-hour room service, and normally, I don’t typically order that because it is super expensive, and there aren’t many good options, but at this hotel, we definitely took full advantage of it! We ordered the chicken fajitas with fresh guacamole and grilled chicken with vegetables, and again they were super helpful and made all the changes we had asked for to our orders.
Since there are several other sister resorts nearby, they offer complimentary shuttles to the other resorts, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, Pueblo Bonito Rose, and Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos. We actually visited Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach several times, and loved the resort as well. We ate at some of their restaurants for lunch, and actually ate dinner at one of their restaurants, La Nao twice during our time in Cabo. They offer theme nights for dinner, which are a buffet of TONS of food options, including a salad bar and incredible dessert bar, depending on the theme that night. We ate there for “Argentine Night” and “Seafood Night”. Both were absolutely incredible and we definitely left SUPER full both times. Those were probably in my top 5 best meals I have had!Our hotel itself is very walkable, and we heard from other guests it was their favorite all-inclusive resort out of all of the ones they have stayed in, so that is saying a lot! The resort is about 45 minutes from the airport, but it is a great drive and allows you to see a lot of the city as you drive in!
Here are some of our outfits from our trip:
Overall, we had an incredible stay, and can’t wait to go back very soon! If you all have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out at any time! Xo

On our recent vacation to Grand Cayman, we had the pleasure of spending time at Camana Bay. At first glance, it looks like a gorgeous outdoor mall, but it so much more than that. Camana Bay offers a mix of residential, commercial, and public spaces, as well as great shopping, and entertainment. It is located right in the heart of Grand Cayman and very close to Seven Mile Beach.Being the foodies we are, we love the dining options they have available. Not only do they have great restaurants for all different taste buds, including Abacus, Lola, Mizu Asian Bistro + Bar, The Brooklyn Pizza + Pasta, but they also have great culinary options for those of us that are looking for healthier options. We were fortunate to enjoy a delicious meal at Abacus. We kept talking about how delicious everything was from the Moroccan vegetable skewers to the seafood mixed grill. Chef Will had just made a trip to Morocco and used spices he got from there on the dish! Does it get any more authentic?! The flavors were out of this world and everything was SO fresh! We even had a tuna sashimi appetizer, and we saw the tuna that Chef Will caught the day before (so cool, right!?). More importantly, we loved that all of these restaurants had options for individuals with food allergies or sensitives. Nothing is worse than going somewhere with no options to eat!We also cured our sweet tooth’s several times at Gelato & Co. The shop is owned by an Italian, so you know it’s authentic! We haven’t had a flavor that we didn’t love, but we were even more excited that they had a stevia sweetened chocolate sorbetto that was dairy and gluten free! Sign us up! We were hesitant about the taste, but it did not disappoint! AMAZING! They also offer fruit sweetened sorbettos that solely rely on the fruit to sweeten the delicious favors, as opposed to additional sugar. Aside from the the amazing flavors, the actual shop is super cute and makes you want to hang out in there forever. The dream!{ Off Shoulder Dress: similar here, here, and here | Lace Up Heels | Earrings: similar here | LIP COLOR : Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor– “All Night Fuchsia” LOVE this color! | BRACELETS: David Yurman Cable Bracelets here, here, and here and Cartier Dupe Bracelet | RINGS: David Yurman Ring here and here and Diamond Bar Ring and Love Ring and Midi Ring| NECKLACE: Love Necklace and Arrow Necklace| WATCH: Michele Deco Watch }
In addition to the amazing restaurants located at Camana Bay, there is a weekly Farmers and Artisans Market held from noon until 7 pm. Guest can explore and shop artisanal food products found only in Grand Cayman, as well as locally grown fruits, vegetables, and even handcrafted products. They also offer a ‘Flavour Tour’ that features local ingredients from the Farmers and Artisans Market within small plates at each restaurant and paired with a cocktail from West Indies Wine Company. We loved that Camana Bay offers several ways to stay active! They have Anytime Fitness and Crossfit located within the community and both have classes available. Additionally, they have an 75 foot tall Observation Tower that leads to 360 degree views of the island. We’d say that’s a great post workout reward! They also have a Sports Complex, which features two tennis courts, two basketball courts, one eight-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, and a FIFA rated sports field.Camana Bay also offers some great shopping! We had a little too much fun checking out the more than 40 shops located within the community. They offer a wide range of retailers that offer anything from high end cooking wear, technology, beauty, bright dresses from Lily Pulitzer, and so many more. Plus, just think, with all of that shopping, you’re getting some steps in and staying active!Whether you’re enjoying the outdoors, shopping, or heading to grab a bite, you can’t help but notice the beautiful design. The community itself was designed with green concepts in mind, such as having electric car charging stations, and is the largest producer of solar power on the island. On top of that, the most talented artisans all over the world were hired to create the beautiful awnings, fountains, lightings, and mosaics that can be seen throughout Camana Bay. We love spending time at Camana Bay, and definitely make a few stops there on every trip to Grand Cayman. If you’re ever visiting Grand Cayman, we highly recommend checking it out!Photos courtesy of Dart Realty

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what our travel must haves are! We wanted to do a quick post for you all to share what we almost always take with us on our trips, whether it is a short, weekend trip or longer trip.
We love a variety of skincare and beauty products, but we also think having certain convenience items like a good water bottle, hair dryer, travel tote, etc. are critical! SHOP our favorites below!
This suitcase is great for a carry on piece and is super durable! I also love this quilted tote for traveling because it is soft, but also hold a ton! How cute is this passport case?! And, this portable charger is so necessary if you are on your phones as much as we are!
We also love Dermalogica products! We have been using their products for years, and our mom actually uses their products and got us hooked on them at an early age! We love their ultra calming cleanser and their sunscreen because it doesn’t clog your pores, and is great for sensitive skin!
We tried this Revision Skincare Intellishade anti-aging tinted moisturizer in the summer, and instantly fell in love! First off, it is great protection from the sun, AND it gives you a light layer of coverage, so it is great to wear under your makeup OR just for putting on when you’re heading out to the gym in the morning or for some quick errands! I love the matte one because I already have shiny skin sometimes!
In addition to some of our favorite skincare products, we are OBSESSED with this toothpaste. We have been using it for several years now, and will not use anything else! It whitens your teeth, and leaves you breath refreshed. We both also use this teeth whitening gel and put it in some trays we had made at our dentist office (in addition to some others we use sometimes!) Speaking of dentists, since we get asked a lot, we go to Dr. Bergdorf in Dallas. He is great, and his staff is SO nice and helpful. I have had my fair share of cavities, and have had nothing but the best experiences each time!
We love using an electric toothbrush, and recently got this Sonicare Diamond one that is super new and charges in a glass cup it comes with. How cool is that?!
Of course, we could go on and on about what we love, but these are most of them! Hope this post was helpful for y’all!
