Have you all jumped on the paper bag short trend? We have and we LOVE it! What is so great about this trend is that anyone can wear them, whether you’re short, tall, or somewhere in between!
We love this denim pair from Express because you can wear them with so much, and they match pretty much anything! This pair is actually buy one, get one half off, so you can get it these in a few other colors or prints. We went with a size 00 in these, and they fit true-to-size!
To style them, we went with one of our staple silk camis from Express. We have this one in at least four other colors because you can truly wear it with everything! We wear ours all year with cardigans or jackets over it, and then into spring and summer, we like to go for the brighter colors and pair it with some denim, like we did here!
For reference, we are wearing size S in the “pacific coral” color! We love this color for spring and summer. It is one of those shades that brings out a tan, and looks great on any skin tone!
One of our top tips for styling these paper bag shorts are to wear it with a top that is tucked, or slightly tucked into the shorts. You want to show of the tie-waist, so don’t wear anything too baggy that would cover that up!
