With spring in full swing, well for most of us, anyways, everyone is getting ready to head out of town for spring vacations! We don’t know about you, but we are all about traveling in comfort. A couple of years ago, and even now, we are so lazy, and who wants to get all dolled up to go the airport of all places? Sometimes, you do want to look somewhat pulled together, so we wanted to share an easy travel look that still looks cute and put-together! We love pairing some stretchy jeans (that you could definitely re-wear while on your trip) with a comfy shoe like these Nikes. You could also wear some kind of slip on like these! This sweater is light, but also spring/summer ish. If you’re heading somewhere beachy or warm, you want to look the part! This sweater is great, and then you could totally wear it on top of a swimsuit later on in your trip! Killing two birds with one stone, yay! A great travel bag is also a necessity! We always like a big tote that we can fit all of our normal purse stuff in, plus our laptop, headphones, books, etc. This one is a great option, and comes in black, too! With spring here, it is time to clean out those closets, and stock up on the must-haves for this season! Okay, we admit we are still in the process of cleaning out our closets. It just seems to be NEVER-ENDING. Ugh, the worst. We actually made a “new rule” that we would not buy any more shoes or clothes, until we got rid of something else to donate or sell. Sounds like a good rule, right? Well, easier said than done;) Do you all have any good rules of thumb when it comes to spring cleaning?! We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
We wanted to share 5 must-haves for spring that we think are essential in any closet. We have good reason for each of these pieces, and know that you all will get a ton of use out of ALL of them pretty much any time of year, especially the spring and summer!
So, here we go!
BASIC WHITE V-NECK
A basic white v-neck is a staple for any gender or person, really. You can pretty much wear them with ANYTHING, and you can dress it up or down. Wear it with shorts, jeans, leggings, you name it! To be honest, a v-neck, especially white or grey, is what we wear at least once a week. It is always in our luggage when we travel, too! You just can’t go wrong! You can also tie it up in a knot, tuck it in, or wear it regular. We love this v-neck because it fits perfectly and it is $17! We own it in several colors!

CUTOFF DENIM SHORTS
We live in these pretty much all spring and summer. You can wear them with tennis shoes, wedges, slip ons, or flip flops. We always wear them with a t-shirt or some kind of tank, and then you can even wear them on top of a swimsuit! They’re just so versatile! We just got this pair that comes in a light and dark wash and is a great price point compared to the other pairs we have seen!

WHITE JEANS
We definitely don’t live by the rule of “no white after Labor Day”, since we wear it all-year-long. They are great especially in the spring and summer because they are so fresh and clean looking. We love them with a pastel top or white for a clean, all-white look. These jeans are a great option and price point. They fit super well and are stretchy! Not joking, we own like 5 or 6 pairs of white jeans, just because we wear them so often!;)

PEEP TOE BOOTIES
When we were deciding on what to include in this must-have list, we had a hard time narrowing it down because there are always so many great pieces to include, but when we thought of shoes, we decided that a peep-toe bootie was a great, versatile option. They’re great for spring because they are closed, except for the peep-toe, have a heel for height (and longer looking legs;)), and look great with dresses, jeans, and shorts! This is our current favorite pair that we just got and LOVE, and this pair is super comfy and under $100.

SLIP ONS
Yes, we know, another slip on. We just can’t say (or wear) enough of these. First off, they are literally the most comfortable shoe (except tennis shoes), they come in a ton of colors, they’re under $60, and look great with any kind of outfit. We own them in three colors, and these light pink ones are next on our list for spring!
After many of you have requested a post on this, we are fiiiinally doing one. We are kind of embarrassed to say we have lived in Dallas for over three and-a-half years, and haven’t really posted about our favorite spots before! Okay, so maybe it is kind of for good reason 😉 Honestly, we are probably bantering 90% of the time we are out in Dallas, so there’s a good chance you have seen us at one of our frequent spots in an argument, eek!
We had a great response on our post styling pieces a few different ways a while back in this post, so we wanted to do another one for y’all! This grey sweater is probably one of our most worn pieces, and most “liked” by y’all, so had to include it in this post! It is under $40, super soft, and goes with everything! The v-neck is also super flattering on anyone.
We styled it a few different ways to show y’all that you can wear it any season, and so many different ways! Also, you’re definitely not limited to just the way we styled them here by any means. You could wear it with white jeans and denim cutoffs, etc.,which we didn’t show here!
With Black Shorts + Tennis Shoes
We love this look for spring because the longer sleeves keep you warm, and the black shorts and tennis shoes are super comfy for running around!
With Shorts + Booties
This is the same as the above look, but we swapped out the tennis shoes for these booties ON SALE!
With Ripped Jeans + Tennis Shoes
This look is great for spring or fall because of the longer sleeves and the jeans. This is a great outfit for traveling or running errands because these jeans are stretchy and these shoes are super comfy!
With Moto Leggings + Slip Ons
These moto leggings are our go-to legging. This exact pair is sold out, but this pair is similar and great for spring and all-year.
With Black Ripped Jeans + Black Heels
This is a great outfit for date night, or a fun night out, or even brunch! The block heel adds a dressier hint, and the ripped black jeans keep it a little more on the dressy-casual side.
With Ripped Jeans + Slip Ons
This is similar to look #3, but we swapped out the tennis shoes for these grey slip ons that look great with everything! If y’all can’t tell, we wear them ALL of the time!
You can totally mix and match the shoes and bottoms in different ways to create even more outfits, too! To be honest, we probably wear these outfits way more than it seems on our Instagrams, haha.
