With so many of you all interested in eating more of a plant-based diet, we thought we would share some items to help you get started, and some we use all of the time!
Books/Cookbooks
Our two favorite books, if you want to get nerdy and some good info, are Medical Medium’s Life Changing Foods and Liver Rescue books. They both have such good information and the “why” behind certain fruits and veggies.
We love using wood utensils for cooking, rather than silicon or plastic because those can melt, and this zucchini noodle maker, or spiralizer, is so easy to use. It also can be used with other vegetables, too.
If you’re wanting a more affordable blender than a Vitamix, this Ninja blender has great reviews and is a lot less expensive. Great for sauces, smoothies, and more.
Last, but not least, a good set of knives is very much needed! This set is on amazon with great reviews.
We are lounging around the house, so what’s better than a cute tie-dye set to look cute and comfy in at home? We are loving tie dye print right now, and had a few requests to share some cute, and affordable sets you can wear around the house, or to go pick up food in!
The first two short sets (blue and pink) are on amazon and SO cute for spring! We are size S.
Can’t believe it is already April! We are sharing our favorites in clothing and shoes from last month (March), which also happen to be our top sellers from you all.
Jeans
Two jeans that we love, and have been wearing on repeat are these stretchy skinny jeans from Abercrombie. These are currently on sale, and we have size 24 short.
This other pair is a Walmart find that is a STEAL. We have size 00 short.
Activewear
We are all living in activewear right now! This leopard legging comes in several prints and is SO comfy. Such a good dupe for the align leggings. We have size xs.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous red maxi, this one is it! SO pretty on, and the back is gorgeous. We have size xs, and recommend petite sizing if they have it.
Shoes
Now, for the shoes: our favorite!
All of these are our most worn pairs, as you may recognize 😉
Hope you all are hanging in there! Since we are all at home, and some of us are working from home, or trying to stay productive, we thought we’d share some of our essentials. We found most of these great work from home items on Amazon, so you can get them very quickly!
Stay On Schedule
Working from home can be challenging when it comes to staying on a schedule! We recommend using a planner to stay organized, and also a time cube if you need to manage your tasks more efficiently!
We are all at home, so that means we all need some major beauty hacks since all of our salons, spray tans, etc are all closed. We asked you all on Instagram, and so many of you wanted some tips on how to do a lot of these beauty treatments at home, or just something to hold out until we can all go back!
**See all of our tips at the bottom of this post.
This Revlon hair brush dryer is AMAZING. Even if you are not good at drying your hair, this will give you an amazing blowout in no time. Our mom swears by it, too!
Aquaphor is amazing for so many things, but we use it to smooth out our brows and keep the stray hairs in place, and to moisturize our lips.
Dry shampoo is a must to keep your hair fresh and smelling clean. We love this Not Your Mothers one because it smells like coconut.
To get makeup off, and a good first clean of our faces, we love using these Neutrogena makeup wipes. They also come in a travel size.
Last, but not least, this Skinceutical C E ferulic acid is SO good and worth the money. It has vitamin c and helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles and also brightens skin.
but we recently bought this GrandeLash lash serum because we have heard nothing but great reviews! You can also use it with lash extensions.
Mascara
We use mascara on our bottom lashes, but when our lashes start to fall out, we use mascara to fill them in. We love this Lancome one, and this Too Faced one is amazing, too!
To be honest, we have never used false lashes, but these lashes have amazing reviews.
ROOT TOUCH UP/BLOWOUTS:
We are totally gray at our roots, so we need a good root touch up and all the help we can get drying our hair.
Root Touch Up
We swear by the root touch up spray because it is so easy to apply and really covers all the grey or roots up. If you don’t like spray, this powder is also good and works well!
We have been wanting one of these facial steamers for so long, and may need to bite the bullet and get one. It has great reviews on amazon and is budget friendly.
Facial Massage
You all need to get a jade roller if you don’t own one already! So good for your lymphatic system and also to de-puff and massage your face.
This microneedling tool because it helps to exfoliate your skin and improves the appearance of it. This one is affordable and we have this one at thome!
SPRAY TANS:
We rely on self tanners in between our spray tans! We LOVE this foam one on amazon, and use it on our face. These tanning drops are also great for your face.
