We are lounging around the house, so what’s better than a cute tie-dye set to look cute and comfy in at home? We are loving tie dye print right now, and had a few requests to share some cute, and affordable sets you can wear around the house, or to go pick up food in!
The first two short sets (blue and pink) are on amazon and SO cute for spring! We are size S.
Hope you all are staying well mentally and physically during this quarantine time. We have actually been embracing it and enjoying this time with our family. It is nice to not “have” to be somewhere, and just take it slowly. We thought we would share 5 self-care things you can add to your week to take care of yourself, and also relax a little bit.
Do a mask for your face and lips
We try to do face masks, but we don’t remember to do our lips. Do you all?! We have been loving these lip treatments from Awake Beauty. They have a daytime and nighttime mask that are super moisturizing and leave your lips hydrated and plumped! The one for daytime hydrates for 12 hours and is cruelty free, and free of parabens, mineral oils, gluten, phthalates, triclosan, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
I love that it has a watermelon tint and scent to it! It also has a blend of olive, argan, rosehip, and raspberry seed oil that help to lock in that moisture!
The nighttime Lip Therapy Mask works while your sleep and is also cruelty free and free all of the yucky stuff! You can also use it during the day, but this one is not tinted and not as thick.
Your face and skin could always use some exfoliation and scrubbing. This scrub you can use all over your body and is sugar-based with ten moisturizing oils and exfoliates off dead skin in the shower.
Massage your back and neck
We get super tight backs and necks, so this neck massager is a game changer! You loop it around your hands and arms and it really gets into your tight muscles.
Light some candles
Some nice candles always make us feel more relaxed. This all natural candle has notes of white tea, fresh fig, and lavender.
Take a relaxing bath
Last, but not least, a nice, relaxing bath is what you need to feel rejuvenated and relaxed. These all natural bath bombs are on prime, and come in a pack of six.
We have a few running shoes we wear regularly, and some that are favorites by other runners, we thought we’d share! Alexis wears these Brooks Glycerin for running, and loves them, and Sam has the New Balance Fresh Foam pair (both in size 7.5).
We also have the Adidas Ultraboosts, and wear them for running, too! We like them for running shorter distances, but we know a lot of people run marathons in them! We have size 7.5 in ours just because if you’re running in them, your feet will swell.
We know everyone is at home right now, and to be honest, some days are better than others. Just know this too shall pass, and we will all come out stronger and closer. We thought we would share some cute and affordable loungewear you can wear at home to work, or to lounge, all while looking stylish!
We love this camo set from Express, and it also happens to come in snakeskin, too! We got size xxs for reference in the comfy pullover, and the super soft joggers.Express has so many cute options to wear around the house, or to pick up takeout or groceries! We love this jumpsuit (we have in size xxs), and this cozy ribbed cardigan (we have size xxs). A lot of their pieces are currently up to 50% off.
If you’re looking for some things to do at home, besides, lounging or napping, here’s what we have been up to/have on our list to-do:
Organizing Our Closets And Spaces
We have been needing to do this for months, and now, we are finally taking time to organize, donate clothes, sell clothes, and it feels SO good. Even if you just do one room, it feels amazing!
Staying Active
We have been trying to stay as active as we can, even if we are at home. We try to go on a 20-30 minute walk every day, if the weather is nice. We also jump on our rebounders, and do some at-home weighted exercises.
Call Friends And Family
Since we are always too busy to call (or see) people, we have been Facetiming our friends and family, and talking on the phone. It really helps to stay upbeat and positive, and really helps more than you’d think!
Working On Projects We Have Been Putting Off
Whether it is recording a workout video to share with you all, working on our ebook, or other projects we have been putting off, we have really been using this time to cross those things off of our lists. We can’t wait to share everything with you all!
Being Grateful
It can be easy to feel frustrated about this situation, but we really are so grateful for our jobs, our families, and our health, and it really helps to shift your mindset when you’re feeling negative.
Cooking Every Meal
We do cook a lot, but especially with this situation, we have been cooking EVERY meal, with the exception of a few dinners that we had pizza, and it has been so nice (and fun to experiment in the kitchen!)
Can’t believe it is already April! We are sharing our favorites in clothing and shoes from last month (March), which also happen to be our top sellers from you all.
Jeans
Two jeans that we love, and have been wearing on repeat are these stretchy skinny jeans from Abercrombie. These are currently on sale, and we have size 24 short.
This other pair is a Walmart find that is a STEAL. We have size 00 short.
Activewear
We are all living in activewear right now! This leopard legging comes in several prints and is SO comfy. Such a good dupe for the align leggings. We have size xs.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous red maxi, this one is it! SO pretty on, and the back is gorgeous. We have size xs, and recommend petite sizing if they have it.
Shoes
Now, for the shoes: our favorite!
All of these are our most worn pairs, as you may recognize 😉
Hope you all are hanging in there! Since we are all at home, and some of us are working from home, or trying to stay productive, we thought we’d share some of our essentials. We found most of these great work from home items on Amazon, so you can get them very quickly!
Stay On Schedule
Working from home can be challenging when it comes to staying on a schedule! We recommend using a planner to stay organized, and also a time cube if you need to manage your tasks more efficiently!
