Happy Tuesday! We are so excited to share our trip to San Francisco and Napa with you all. We had never been to San Francisco or Napa before, so we were really excited! We were there from Wednesday to Monday, so it was a good amount of time. It was definitely not one of those relaxing trips, but we still had a great time. We spent the beginning of our trip in San Francisco exploring the city, and on the weekend, we attended Bottlerock and went to a couple of wineries. Thank you all for your suggestions for spots to go to and restaurants to eat at! We will be sharing some of the below, in case any of you all are going there soon!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Axiom Hotel for our last two nights, and loved it! Even though we attended Bottlerock and went to Napa during the time we stayed there, we still got to enjoy this hotel. The Axiom Hotel is located in the Union Square and SoMa districts. They are located in a century-old San Francisco building and infuse classic architecture and electrical modern design. They even are pet-friendly, which is so cool!
We loved how the room was very open and contemporary. They have large smart-TVs, Apple TV, iPad an iPhone docking stations, and complimentary wifi (always a winner in our book!). They also had RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) locks on the room doors, so you don’t have to mess around with inserting the key.The bathroom had a separate shower that was open and beautiful and a sliding door with a full-length mirror (made for us!).Their restaurant and bar, The Turn Cafe has a selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are prepared to sit down and enjoy or grab on-the-go. They also offer specialty cocktails and coffee. They also have a great lounge area in their lobby.
Speaking of eating and drinking, they had these amazing BRITA filling stations in every hallway, so it is great for filling up your water and staying hydrated.Of course, we made a few pit-stops in the gym. We love that it had a fun vibe (not your typical gym) with neon lights and a darker atmosphere!Another great thing about the location is that it is walking distance to great shopping and an indoor mall that has a HUGE Nordstrom. Need we say more?! On that topic, this area does remind of us a little bit of Times Square in NYC in that it is filled with tourists and some homeless people. We didn’t feel unsafe, but you do have to be careful with your bags and phones.
Overall, we loved this hotel, and would definitely stay here again!
We also wanted to talk a little more about what we did in Napa and San Francisco. As we mentioned, we attended Bottlerock, which is a music festival in Napa. We had been to Austin City Limits before, but we loved this festival. The weather was gorgeous and we had an amazing time!
At Domaine Carneros Winery. We got the sparkling tasting!
Driving on the Golden Gate Bridge.
We also had the chance to use this super sweet driver, Luie, who drove us around to several wineries in Napa. He drove us from SF to Napa and waited for us at each winery, and it was SO convenient. HIGHLY recommend using him! His information is:
You all may have seen us talking about the VW Jetta on our snapchats and inta-stories. VW let us zip around in the 2017 Jetta to get around the city and Napa. We LOVED the car, and could not recommend it more if you’re in the market for a new car. It was super easy to drive, very comfortable, and we loved that it connects to your iPhone with Apple CarPlay. It makes getting around and navigating much easier!

We are SO excited to share our stay at Breathless Cabo Resort + Spa. We had the MOST incredible experience there. From the moment we were picked up from the Cabo airport by our hilarious driver who greeted us with beer, to the moment we left the resort, our time was nothing short of amazing. We seriously had THE best time, and we hope that is reflected in our pictures and videos. Be sure to check out our vlog (we apologize for the newbie editing; this is our first one!) to see all the behind the scenes, and highlights of our trip!
The resort is about 30 to 40 minutes away from the airport in Cabo. We enjoyed the drive over because you get to see all the new construction and different resorts on the way. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the super sweet staff who helped us with our bags and gave us a tour of the resort. The resort is right on the Cabo marina (close to the shops, restaurants, and nightlife), as well as Medano Beach, which is actually swimmable!
They have two pools, one that is more quiet, and the other one, which we loved, that had a DJ, a ton of activities like water aerobics with Johnny, a great pool bar, Foam, and yes, even a foam party with super fun pool floats. We have stayed at some other resorts, and while their pools were relaxing, this one was so fun. One of the days, we had a bed with a bottle of champagne and a huge fruit plate, aka heaven. Our waitress, Vianey, was so sweet and made sure we had a great time! At 2 PM every day, they come out with a ton of margaritas and different cocktails for everyone at the pool, and it is just such a fun atmosphere. { Printed Swim Top | Printed Bottoms | Navy Crochet Top | Navy Crochet Bottoms | Duck Float }{ Blue Sunglasses | Silver Sunglasses }{ Purple Cover Up | Black Swimsuit | Hat }The quiet pool is near one of their restaurants called Bites, which is a sit-down restaurant that has a variety of dishes like ceviche, chips and guac, and fresh fish.{ Striped Dress | Hat } We loved the quiet pool to get work done, or to take some pictures. It overlooks the marina, which is so gorgeous to look at!{ Navy Crochet Top | Navy Crochet Bottoms | Hat| Silver Sunglasses | Earrings }{ Pom Pom Sandals | Striped Tote |Blue Sunglasses }
The larger pool overlooks the beach, which is incredible. You can actually sit on the beach, too, and they have water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skis, and snorkeling. Some of the other resorts we have stayed at in Mexico did not have water sports because the water is too rough, so we loved that this resort offered that. The resort is just steps away from the marina and shopping, so it was perfect for when we headed out on our Pancho tour with Blue Sky Cabo. We had THE best time on that tour and you can check out all of the reviews for them here. We got a ton of amazing photos and video, and they also offer sunset tours, which we will definitely be doing next time we go!
{ Gold Bikini Top | Gold Bottoms | Black Top | Jean Shorts | Hat | Sunglasses | Blue Sunglasses | Blue Earrings }Another super important thing to us is fitness, as you all know;) They have a gym that has cardio equipment like treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as free weights and some machines. They also offer poolside yoga and pilates every morning, and a fitness class at 10 AM. We had the opportunity to workout with one of the trainers of Elite Fit Agency, Darren. He put us through a great full-body workout (see our vlog for more), and we did a variety of things using body-weight, free weights, and TRX cables. We normally just workout ourselves, but it was nice to have a change, and we were both sore the next day. We also took a water aerobics class at the pool with Johnny, which was so fun! He made sure to make us laugh the entire time, and we actually really worked out our legs and glutes, all while getting a nice tan;)
The spa at the resort was absolutely breathtaking (very fitting as Breathless, haha)! They offer tons of great services including facials, deep tissue massages, manis and pedis, and even the fish spa. We both got a deep tissue massage and a fish pedicure. If you’re thinking what the heck is a fish pedicure, it’s basically a tub of water with fish called Garra rufa that eat away at dead skin. It kind of feels like someone is tickling your feet! They have both a hot and wet sauna, as well as a giant shower filled with fresh water to use after the sauna. The most incredible feature of the spa is the view from the giant terrace (BIG heart emoji eyes). Y’all, we could have just stayed there our entire trip because it was so beautiful! They have champagne and light snacks out there as well to enjoy!Speaking of amazing views, the rooftop lounge, Purple, at the resort is unreal! We went up there for some drinks (the bartender made the most amazing mojito) and to snap some photos as always, and it was the most amazing view we have ever seen! You can see the beach straight ahead and then the marina to the right!
Being the foodies that we are, we loved all of the food options. We will say we are not super picky when it comes to food. As y’all know, we eat super healthy, so we basically just need lots of veggies, salads, and protein and we will be happy campers. The problem for us usually is that we are ALWAYS hungry. For that reason, we love all inclusive resorts because we can eat whenever and whatever we want and not feel guilty that we are breaking the bank. At this resort, they had Spoon, a buffet option located right next to the pool deck. This meant that you get the most gorgeous view of the marina and beach every time you have a meal! They served breakfast and lunch there. We loved all of the option they had within the buffet. They had TONS of salads (you could build your own), cold dishes like ceviches and shrimp cocktail, and then they had lots of vegetarian and meat options with the hot bar (it was all so good!). For breakfast, they had the usual bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, etc and then they had a omelette station. We loved that you picked your own ingredients in a bowl for your omelet and then the chef made with eggs, eggs whites, etc. SO much easier and no lines or angry chefs (yes, this has happened to us too many times)! They also had fresh juices and yummy desserts! They have some other places to sit down and order food (one near the quiet pool called Bites). They also have 24 hour room service that is all included (we definitely did some midnight snacking on fajitas)!Downstairs, near the beach, they had several other restaurants (some open for lunch and dinner). We ate at all of them and really enjoyed them. As always, you can order as much food as you want! So, if you’re still hungry after your meal, you just order again!
Sashimi from one of the restaurants:They have one restaurant, La Biblioteca de Tequila that is an extra charge. Theyre known for their tequila obviously, but the food was really good too! We got the salmon and the steak and they were both amazing and great portion sizes, too! All of these restaurants had great views of the ocean, so perfect setting when the sun is going down! Now, let’s talk about the gorgeous room! Our room was part of the Xcelor club, so it’s a bit larger than the regular rooms (but those are still spacious). The Xcelor club was nice because they had tons of drinks, a nespresso, an open bar, and tons of little snacks throughout the day. We loved our room, and would have happily moved in! We loved how open and bright it was even without lights on! It had a huge open bathroom with a double vanity, separate toilet room, and a huge shower with a rain faucet. We also loved that they had great toiletries (including our favorite whitening toothpaste!). We were obsessed with the amazing balcony and the gorgeous marina view we had. If only we could wake up to that everyday!
There were two things we weren’t the biggest fans of. Trust us, it was hard to come with stuff we didn’t like! The way the resort is positioned, you have to walk from one tower to the other to go from the lobby or rooms to the beach/pool area and the gym. It was a nice walk scenery wise, but it sometimes is a pain because it can feel like a hassle if you left something in the room to walk all the way back. On a normal day, we didn’t mind it. You are walking on a portion of the boardwalk when you switch towers, but it’s technically still part of the hotel and they have security that ask about your room number and check upon entry to either tower. You also need to use your key to get into either tower, so we never felt unsafe. The other thing we thought needed a little improvement was the number of outlets in the room. We could make it work by unplugging lamps and phones, but it would be easier if there were more to plug in laptops, phones, curling irons, etc.
With all of that being said, we can’t say enough good things about Breathless Resorts Cabo. We were so sad to be leaving, but like they say, back to reality! So many of our friends and peers have asked us if it really looked like the pictures, and yes, it truly is as pretty as it looked! We highly recommend going there for your next getaway! We know we will be back soon!
This past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the South Congress Hotel. It is a boutique hotel located in one of our favorite parts of Austin, South Congress. What we love about Austin, especially South Congress, is that there are a ton of restaurants, shopping, and bars, all very walkable!
We used to eat and walk around this street all of the time when we went to school in Austin, HOOK ‘EM, so it is always fun to be back! This hotel was actually not even around when we were in school, and was just built a couple of years ago. We hadn’t been back in this area since we moved to Dallas, and we honestly fell in love with it. It is super close to so many great spots, including one of our favorites, Magnolia Cafe. There is also a Torchy’s Taco very close by, as well as a ton of other restaurants. You could easily get around this area without access to car, which is great if you’re visiting from out of town. We also walked to get fajitas from Polvo’s, a green juice at The Soup Peddler, and gelato at Dolce Neve (all about a 10 minute walk!)Chicken fajitas at Polvo’sEgg white omelette with veggie and a side of fruit and zucchini from Magnolia Cafe. They have GREAT pancakes!Frozen Rose from Hotel San Jose (thanks for the suggestion, y’all!)
They have three amazing restaurants (some you have probably heard of or seen on social media): Café No Sé, Central Standard, and Otoko. We had the opportunity to eat at both Café No Sé and Central Standard, and they were both delicious! Both restaurants were super accommodating, and we loved what we ordered at both, but honestly, everything on their menus looked amazing! They also have a super cute bar!At Café No Sé, we started with the hummus and veggies, and then we both ordered the burger without the bun. It was spuriously filling, and really good! They also had an avocado toast on their menu that looked amazing! Besides their food, we were O B S E S S E D with their decor. They had this amazing blue tile that we fell in love with. { Sunglasses}Bunless burger and hummus and veggies. {Shorts | Wedges | Toe Polish }
At Central Standard, we started with the deviled eggs, and then of course, we both ordered the roasted chicken with broccolini and brussels sprouts. It was DELICIOUS! We both will be back to this spot! We were surprised at how great the food was, despite it being a “hotel restaurant”. Typically, it can be mediocre, but we absolutely loved the food.Roasted chicken with roasted brussels sprouts.
Deviled Eggs. The actual hotel was very modern, and had really cool design and architecture. The hallways were really wide and spacious, and the doors had the keyless entry, which we love. Who wants to have to insert their card into that little slot? UGH! The actual room had a super neat, industrial feel. We loved that they had custom designed furniture and huge windows, which we loved for natural lighting! They also had a ton of local, healthy products in the mini bar. The room also had a fridge (necessary for us, haha), and a safe. We are pretty particular about the bathrooms, and this one was a good size and had a great rain shower.{ Shirt | Shorts | Taupe Wedges | Duffel Bag | Hat } { Robe | Laptop Case }{ Duffle Bag }
The staff was all super helpful the entire stay. When we checked in they were very informative, and helped us with everything we needed. We also left our phone charger at the pool, and we also needed an iron, and they brought it all up to our room. They really made it a point to get to know us, and make sure we were taken care of.On one of the days, we got to head to the pool to enjoy the beautiful weather. The pool overlooked South Congress, so it had a gorgeous view, and had tons of seating. We loved the comfy lounge chairs, as well as the bean bag chairs in the back to relax on. It was very open, so you could get could sun the entire day, which is very important to us! They also have a great bar up there.{ Hat | Gold Bikini Top | Gold Bikini Bottoms | Flip Flops }{ Pink Bikini Top | Pink Bikini Top | Sandals | Hat | Sunglasses } The fitness center, which we obviously care about, haha, was a good size, and had all the equipment we needed. It was on our room floor, which was super convenient, and nobody was in there, so we had it all to ourselves!{ Shorts | Tank | Bra | Shoes | Earphones | Grey Strap Tennis Shoes }
We also wanted to share some of our favorite places in Austin:
Town Lake
great to walk or run on, and they also have benches to sit on and just relax
Food Trucks
they have areas of them all over with so many different type of foods!
Mt. Bonnell
also a great place to walk/short hike. Our parents actually got engaged here!
University of Texas at Austin Campus
obviously we are biased, but it is so fun to just walk around. “The Drag” is also a fun place to get some UT gear, as well as grab some good food!
The Domain
a huge outdoor mall that has tons of restaurants, shopping, and some hotels.
South Congress
this is the area we stayed in. Tons of restaurants, bars, and food trucks.
1st Street
this is very walkable from South Congress. They have tons of restaurants and cute little shops.
Kayaking/Paddle Boarding on Town Lake
besides walking on the lake, you can also paddle board and kayak, which is really fun!
Watch Bats on Bridge
honestly, only Sam has done this, but she says it was cool! A ton of people gather around to take pictures of this everyday.
Hamilton Pool:
this is also a really pretty hike, and then they have this “pool” at the bottom, which is fun to lay out, and just take pictures.
And, a few other snaps that we took on our trip:Samantha’s outfit for dinner the first night we were there.
We had THE best time having a girl getaway, and Austin will always have a special place in our hearts:) Hope you all enjoyed! Please reach out with any questions! Xo

Happy Saturday! We wanted to share a roundup of our favorite swimsuit pieces as of late! We seriously want ALLL of them! We are not usually fans of a one-piece suit, but this hot pink mesh suit and this palm print one are super cute, and not “grandma” at all!
We have this lace bikini in black, and love the lace detailing and fit of it!
We had a great response on our post styling pieces a few different ways a while back in this post, so we wanted to do another one for y’all! This grey sweater is probably one of our most worn pieces, and most “liked” by y’all, so had to include it in this post! It is under $40, super soft, and goes with everything! The v-neck is also super flattering on anyone.
We styled it a few different ways to show y’all that you can wear it any season, and so many different ways! Also, you’re definitely not limited to just the way we styled them here by any means. You could wear it with white jeans and denim cutoffs, etc.,which we didn’t show here!
With Black Shorts + Tennis Shoes
We love this look for spring because the longer sleeves keep you warm, and the black shorts and tennis shoes are super comfy for running around!
With Shorts + Booties
This is the same as the above look, but we swapped out the tennis shoes for these booties ON SALE!
With Ripped Jeans + Tennis Shoes
This look is great for spring or fall because of the longer sleeves and the jeans. This is a great outfit for traveling or running errands because these jeans are stretchy and these shoes are super comfy!
With Moto Leggings + Slip Ons
These moto leggings are our go-to legging. This exact pair is sold out, but this pair is similar and great for spring and all-year.
With Black Ripped Jeans + Black Heels
This is a great outfit for date night, or a fun night out, or even brunch! The block heel adds a dressier hint, and the ripped black jeans keep it a little more on the dressy-casual side.
With Ripped Jeans + Slip Ons
This is similar to look #3, but we swapped out the tennis shoes for these grey slip ons that look great with everything! If y’all can’t tell, we wear them ALL of the time!
You can totally mix and match the shoes and bottoms in different ways to create even more outfits, too! To be honest, we probably wear these outfits way more than it seems on our Instagrams, haha.
A few of y’all wanted to know some of our recommendations for Scottsdale as far as restaurants and activities. We honestly didn’t get to do that much besides workout, hike, eat, and eat some more;) BUT, we did have some GREAT food!
We didn’t include every single thing we ate, but we did share them on snapchat/insta-stories, in case y’all got to see it! In case you didn’t see the post from Friday, we stayed at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. More details on our stay in this post!
WHERE TO EAT:
see pictures below!
Breakfast Kitchen Bar
True Food Kitchen
Pita Jungle
Deseo (in our hotel)
Shake Shack (bunless burger)
The Greenhouse
Chelsea’s Kitchen (in airport)
Le Macaron (we got gelato!)
Snooze
WHAT TO DO:
Camelback Mountain:
As far as activities, we went to Camelback Mountain and hiked the less rock-climbing side (the Cholla trail). It was still a really good workout, but not like rock climbing, like the Echo side. We would definitely recommend it! We actually ended up walking another 45 minutes afterwards to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall to walk around and eat something! We were STARVING, per usual;)
Going Out:
Although we don’t go out to eat much, we did meet a friend up to go out for drinks. We had heard some things about Old Town Scottsdale, but let’s just say, it is not our scene. Definitely good people-watching, but next time, we would prefer a more “chill” bar next time, haha.
Laying Out:
We did this twice while we were there because they have GREAT weather right now before it gets too hot! We love just laying by the pool and drinking a good cocktail!
Other Ideas:
We also read they have some other great preserves to look at, great golfing, spas, and kayaking!
Here are some of our meals that I remembered to take photos of!
This breakfast was at Breakfast Kitchen Bar. Literally OBSESSED with everything on their menu! Our friend got the GF pancake and they were incredible! We ate at this spot twice! FYI- the service was pretty slow, so be ready to be patient;) This was the veggie omelette! These are the protein plates, where you can choose veggies and your favorite proteins! This was at Snooze, another breakfast/lunch spot! Our friend got the GF pancakes and they were also SO yum! We got an omelette with fruit and a side salad. They had really good coffee! The chicken sausage wasn’t very good (or appetizing, haha) You all know we LOVE roasted chicken! This was at The Greenhouse. After our hike, we grabbed a salad with chicken at Pita Jungle at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. It was actually pretty good! This roasted chicken (again!) was surprisingly at the Phoenix airport at a spot called Chelsea’s Kitchen! Hope this was helpful for y’all! We know a few of you were asking about it since you had upcoming trips! Please let us know if you have any questions at all! XO
