Many of y’all may not know that we are extremely petite, so wearing boots and a dress can be so tough! We are 5’1″, so usually a boot and a dress combo is not the best idea for us. We wanted to share some of our favorite boots and dresses to wear if you are around the same height as us. This off shoulder dress sold out super quickly, but we found a few super similar options for y’all! The most important tip for the dresses is to find one that hits right above your knee, and find a boot that is below your knee, that way you have enough skin showing to where you’re not all covered in material, haha.This dress is a great option and would look super cute with boots, and we also love this one. These black suede boots look so great with everything and they’re super comfy! You can wear them with a dress, or with leggings or jeans!This black quilted bag is a classic, and you may have seen it in several of our gift guides. It goes with everything and can be dressed up or down!Nordstrom has the best selection of sweater dresses and boots. They offer free returns and shipping, in case you change your mind, and our favorite: in-store pickup. Literally a game changer because all you have to do is place your order online and then pick it right up at the counter or curbside within a couple hours! We seriously use it all of the time.

What are some gift suggestions for a friend’s birthday?
Some of our gift suggestions are something personalized. We love a good personalized gift because it is thoughtful and meaningful. Some of our ideas are:
card case like this and this to put all of their credit cards, ID, etc. in with their name painted or monogrammed on it. We used DTLA custom for ours.
To clean our tennis shoes, we will usually throw them in the washing machine with the rest of our clothes. We do this for all of our workout tennis shoes, and they have turned out great! Make sure there is a good amount of clothes in there, so your shoes aren’t banging around, haha.
For shoes like Vans, or Adidas, we use a toothbrush and Clorox bleach to clean the white part of the shoes. We don’t use this for the material part. Also, you can use a magic eraser on the white parts as well.
How do you all stay so slim? What is your workout regime?
Thank you, that is so sweet. Honestly, there is no secret to what we do. We eat very healthy, and workout regularly. We shared what we typically eat in this post, and we share our workout routines every Wednesday in these posts. We also have reviewed this workout guide, and think it is a great tool for eating healthy and working out!

What socks do you wear with your tennis shoes that are “no-show”?
We wear these and LOVE them. They never show, and they’re great with shoes like Vans, too.
What are the best calf exercises to do?
The best calf exercises to do are calf raises. We suggest doing calf raises once a week (can be done with your leg day, or just with another muscle group). We usually do 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps of calf raises with our toes pointed in (10-15 reps), toes pointed outwards, and toes parallel (forward). So, 10-15 reps, each, of each toe direction, and 3-4 sets of that total. It sounds like a lot, but you want to make sure you’re exercising your entire calf muscle group. Also, you can do these weighted or unweighted. We suggest using 10-15 lb dumbbells in each hand.
Even though it is still a zillion degrees in Texas, where are you fall?! I wanted to do a quick post on our must-have jackets for fall/winter. There are some that are absolute necessities, if you ask me, and some that just look super cute that you kind of have to have;)
Leather Moto Jacket:
This one is a NECESSITY. Haha, but really! You can really throw this on with basically anything, and it give you a really edgy look! There are several under $100, so you really can’t go wrong! Check out more options below:
Suede Jacket:
Y’all already know we are obsessed with this suede moto jacket! They just added several new colors, and I am now obsessed with this lavender color! SO gorg. I also found several more suede options below:
Utility Jacket:
This one is great on top of plaid shirts or layered on top cardigans or chunky knits! I also love it on top of rompers and dresses in the spring and summer!
Puffer Jacket:
These are great, especially if you live somewhere where it gets super cold in the winter. They keep you super warm, and I love that this one is longer so it covers your butt, too!
Blazer:
Who says blazers are just for work? I love a black blazer to dress up any outfit, and make it more classy! This one is a classic, and I promise you will wear it a ton!
Bomber Jacket:
I will admit, I was like I am not going to jump on that trend, BUT, now I love them. I have this army green one and I love it with jeans! This embroidered one is super cute, too!
Rain Jacket:
I have this rain jacket and wear it ALL of the time! You can wear it on a normal day, but I love it for rain because the rain just slides right off of it!
Denim Jacket:
These jackets are also a necessity! You can wear these any time of year, and they make any outfit more casual! I love them on top of dressier top or dress or with white jeans!
Long Coat:
I love the look of a long coat! There is jut something dressier and classier about it. This burgundy wrap one is super cute, and I also love this two-tone one!
Vest/Cape:
I don’t actually own a cape, but it is next on my t0-buy list;) I think they are so fun! As far as vests, I think a faux fur is a must! I also love these shearling ones on top of a silk blouse or denim underneath!
