It may be September, aka “fall-ish”, but if you live in Texas, or somewhere warmer, it is going to be warmer out for at least the next couple of months. September can be kind of an awkward/transitional month, so we wanted to share how we would style three different shoe options, and how you can wear them depending on what your weather is (cooler or warmer).
Since it is too warm for boots, we love a transitional bootie that you really can wear all year, but especially in the fall. They are super comfy, and can be worn with dresses, jeans, shorts, and leggings. We love a peep toe version for more of these transitional months because you can still show off your cute pedicure and tan. This one in particular is actually really comfortable, despite the height it gives you. The olive color is a great neutral and something different than the typical tan or browns. This one also comes in a few other colors.
We styled these booties with some dark ripped jeans and a grey v-neck tee. We love this outfit for a casual date night, traveling, or just to run some errands.
If you’re looking for a closed-toed bootie, this dark green pair is a great option. It is also a good neutral and can be worn with shorts, jeans, and leggings. We love that these have a flat heel, so they’re comfy to run around in all day.
We styled these booties with some cuffed denim shorts and a light sweater, perfect to transition into fall!

Not going to lie, we were not totally on board with the mule trend when it started last year, but now, we absolutely LOVE them!
This pair is super cute because they’re embroidered. We love these with jeans or with some black leggings. You can dress these up or down! They would be super cute with a black dress and denim jacket, too.

When you think about bloggers and blogging, you probably don’t think of it as a brand specifically, or at least we didn’t. We wanted to talk today more about blogging, but specifically, viewing yourself as a brand. In case you missed our podcast recently, we shared some tips for starting a blog, and we also talked about branding, and how important that is. We had a few requests to go into more detail, so we are excited to chat more about it with you all! Before we get into that, we wanted to talk about this super easy and SOOO comfy outfit, perfect for transitioning into fall.
Of course, there are times you are going to want to vent or blow off some steam from something that has happened or bothered you, but it is also important to remember that you will leave an impression, especially if they are people you haven’t met before, or don’t know that well. People will probably remember positive things, but they will most definitely remember negative things that you say or do.
You never know who is around you, or who may know someone that is potentially connected to you, so it is always good to keep these things in mind! 
You all may notice that we also try and respond to you all on social media and emails. We are huge on interacting and engaging with you all. Without you all, we wouldn’t be able to do this for a living, and we would feel like we are talking to a computer or phone screen, haha. While it can be difficult and time-consuming to feel like we are always glued to our phones, it is really a priority for us to answer you all at the end of the day. It is always so amazing to us that some of y’all don’t expect us to answer you because of course we would! We are not saying we are anyone special or famous, by any means, but responding and stuff like that is part of your representation as a personal brand, and also how you respond.
